The BBC has confirmed exactly when Poldark's fifth and final series will come to an end, following previous confusion over scheduling.
Fans of the show were left concerned after it was announced that Peaky Blinders would return seemingly during Poldark's time slot on August 25.
However, it's now transpired that the show's final two episodes have been moved – the penultimate instalment will air an hour earlier than usual at 8pm on Sunday, August 25, and the last episode at 8.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26.

Poldark's official Twitter account confirmed the airtime of the episodes, as well as sharing a behind-the-scenes clip from the final series.
The post read: "Attention UK #Poldark fans! S5 will conclude in an exciting action-packed double bill over the August Bank Holiday weekend on @BBCOne!

However, it seems the rescheduling isn't sitting too well with fans, who are disappointed to see a show that has aired on a Sunday for the past five series, move to a Monday.
One fan tweeted: "[The] culmination of five years of this amazing show is really airing at 8.30pm on a Monday night? After five years of being in the prime time Sunday night spot? Really??? Ok BBC nae bother."
While another disgruntled viewer wrote: "I know it wasn't your doing... But this scheduling looks terrible. The last 3 episodes of #Poldark will air in 3 different time slots. And the last ever episode is going to air on a Monday at 8:30pm. A very sad way to end one of BBCOne's most dependable drama."
Poldark airs on Sundays at 9pm on BBC One in the UK. Series 5 will premiere in the US on Sunday, September 29 at 9/8c on PBS.
