The wait is almost over for Windows 10, but some of you may have the new operating system waiting to be installed already.
According to Windows Central, Microsoft has begun rolling out the update a little earlier than scheduled - and probably to reduce the strain of all those downloads tomorrow.
Those chosen to receive Windows 10 early will apparently see a new folder appear on their operating system partition, $windows.~BT.
To avoid overloading Microsoft's servers, not everyone eligible for the upgrade will be able to get it on the first day.
The operating system will run seamlessly across PCs, tablets, smartphones and other hardware, but will not be on mobile devices at launch.
