US residents in some states can already order groceries from Amazon Fresh, but the web retailer may be plotting to go a step further.
According to the Silicon Valley Business Journal, the company wants to open its first 'drive-thru' grocery store next.
Shoppers would still place their orders online, but instead of having them delivered, they would schedule a time to pick them up.
It's claimed that Sunnyvale, California will be the first spot, and it seems a real estate developer has already submitted plans for a 11,600-square-foot building.
Apparently locals will be able to find the grocery pick-up area at 777 Sunnyvale Saratoga Road, where eight car bays will be available to collect groceries.
What's more, it's also suggested that Amazon could roll out the concept throughout Silicon Valley.
It was recently reported that the Amazon Fresh delivery service could be coming to London as soon as September.
