Netflix has announced the Netflix Watch... kind of.
In a video that pokes fun at Apple's recent foray into the wearable category, the Netflix Watch features a faintly ridiculous smartphone-sized screen strapped to the user's wrist.
Sadly (or perhaps for the sake of our wrists, mercifully), the product isn't real, and appears to be a late April Fools' Day joke.
The company claims that you can "experience total freedom" with the watch, which has the ability to "view your favorite Netflix Originals directly from your wrist".
Of course, if the Netflix Watch isn't for you then the company will also be offering the Netflix Watch Plus - a tablet-sized wearable.
