PlayStation 5's internal storage expansions went on sale during July's Amazon Prime Day sales, which concluded on Wednesday, July 17, however, there's still a discount available.
The WD_Black SSD comes with 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB of storage, as well as a heatsink to prevent the device from overheating while you're playing games directly from it.
Unfortunately, the 4TB version is now sold out, but you can save 58% on the 1TB version, and 65% on the 2TB version. Amazon Prime members were able to secure them for £78.83 and £132.87 respectively during the sale, so there are still significant savings to be made.

PS5 Slim consoles do come built-in with storage – for instance, the disc console hard drive storage is sized at 1TB – but you can only use 850GB of that space in practice due to data the console automatically installs to run.
If you own an older disc console with 825GB storage, you can only make use of 667.2GB once the console's data is installed, and all this space can fill up quickly if you tend to hop between PS5 games or share your console with others in the house.
This can leave you quite tight on space for new games or returning to old ones, as perennial releases you might play all year – such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – can take up to 250GB of space, and deleting and redownloading isn't a quick solution either.
