A picture of a document suggesting that an updated version of Google's Nexus 10 tablet is on its way has been leaked.

The image - tweeted by Evleaks - was accompanied by the caption, "Getting closer'.

The leak appears to lend further weight to rumours that the new Google tablet will be made by ASUS, who previously made the company's Nexus 7 device.

Speculation that ASUS will take over manufacturing of the Nexus 10 from Samsung originated from a previous leak that also suggested the device will cost £349 in the UK.

No official details of the new Nexus 10 have been released yet.

A photo claiming to show the upcoming LG Nexus 5 smartphone was also leaked earlier this week.
