It looks like Far Cry 6 may be on the way, with a new trailer teasing a post-apocalyptic follow-up for this year’s Far Cry 5.
Ubisoft have released a teaser for the next game in the series, which features an ominous voice that declares: “None of us were ready for the end.
"The flames devoured everything,” it continues. “And when death rolled through our valley, our world turned cold and dark. The years of rain, the howling winds, gave way to blue skies, and a new world in bloom. We felt hope. We were wrong."
We also witness a nuclear blast in a landscape eerily similar to that of Far Cry 5, as well as a buzzsaw being repurposed for a crossbow.
The clip ends with a reveal that the next Far Cry will be officially unveiled tomorrow (December 7) at the Video Game Awards at 1.30am GMT – so if you’re in the UK, you’ll have to stay up, we’re afraid.
