Next week on Neighbours, Paul and Terese continue to feel the strain over Chelsea's presence in their life.

Elsewhere, Remi faces a frightening ordeal, Leo fears that he'll have to leave his family, and Darcy starts to show his true colours.

Terese tells Paul that she felt left out in the cold when she saw him looking so cosy with Chelsea and baby Thomas at the naming day party. Paul feels terrible and decides that Terese needs to tackle her insecurities head-on by spending more time with Thomas.

Paul gets the ball rolling quickly, convincing Chelsea to let Thomas have a sleepover at the penthouse that night. Sadly, the idea goes wrong as Thomas is struck down by a fever and becomes inconsolable. This forces Paul and Terese to call Chelsea back to comfort her son.

Cara tries to clear Leo's name now that he's back to being the prime suspect in Sebastian's murder case. She investigates the theory that Sebastian's drug network was involved in his death.

Taking a big risk, Cara takes photos of Sebastian's drug dealer Jordan when she spots her up to no good with some dodgy associates.

Jordan finds out what's going on and takes a violent revenge. In a case of mistaken identity, though, she accidentally targets Remi rather than Cara.

Remi requires hospital treatment following Jordan's cruel revenge. Cara is guilt-ridden over her detective work endangering her wife like this.

Later, Cara continues her ongoing audit of Lassiters after Paul recently tasked her with uncovering any rule-breaking among the employees. She hopes to impress Paul, but knows that her snitching is making her very unpopular with colleagues.

Byron gets his chance to return to the legal world when he's appointed as a volunteer assistant for Leo's defence team. The court date will take place in two months' time and there's plenty of work to do before then, with a tough battle ahead to prove Leo's innocence.

Leo starts to lose hope when a booking at Yorokobi is cancelled at the last minute due to the damning rumours that are circulating about him. He immediately sets to work on mitigating the damage by asking Byron to take on a bigger workload at the vineyard and become the face of the business.

Leo and Krista finally meet for an honest conversation about their relationship following all of the drama surrounding Sebastian. Leo points out that he can't make any commitments while he has the threat of prison hanging over him.

Krista asks Leo to still set aside some time to work on their marriage.

Leo continues to prepare for the worst possible scenario, warning his family that they all need to prepare for the likelihood that he's going to prison.

New detective Rafe also warns Leo that the magistrate assigned to his case has a tough reputation.

Karl fears that Darcy has been lying to everyone when he finds out that the rogue was recently fired from another wellness centre in Sydney. Darcy is still facing legal action over the unresolved scandal.

Darcy soon finds Karl snooping around his house for further clues. He tries to set the record straight, insisting that he was sacked unfairly after raising the alarm over patients being ripped off.

Darcy spots an opportunity to turn the tables on Karl when he finds out that the Erinsborough favourite has stopped taking his medication. He reminds Karl that it may not be safe to go cold turkey like this.

Karl relents and thanks Darcy for being so understanding and discreet over his recent mistakes. Finally showing the first hints of an ulterior motive, Darcy suggests that there's a way Karl can return the favour.

It turns out that Karl isn't the only one in Darcy's sights, as he also approaches Terese with a plan to solve her 'Chelsea' problem if she does something for him in return.

Sadie continues to keep Byron at arm's length after what happened in the fire. She turns to Darcy for support and he suggests that she might need professional help.

Later in the week, Byron persists with his efforts to fix things with Sadie – this time by recreating the romantic Bridgerton-style date they had last year. Despite this, Sadie's mood doesn't improve and she confides in Byron about how she's confused by her own emotions at the moment.

Andrew tries to reconnect with Wendy, as they've been struggling to get their married life back to normal following his wife's time away. He fears that he's made their issues worse by accidentally throwing out Wendy's treasured jewellery collection while she was gone.

Later in the week, a misunderstanding forces Andrew to be honest with Wendy over the potential blunder.

Nell returns to Erinsborough after attending her grandfather Big Kev's funeral.

JJ tries to check on Nell but she makes a hasty exit, which leaves JJ confused.

Max takes some advice from Shane and plays hard-to-get around Holly, despite his obvious feelings for her.

Holly confronts Max over his sudden change in mood towards her. Realising this was a misfire, Max decides to stop the games and the new couple lean in for a kiss.

Max and Holly waste little time before announcing the news that they're now a couple.

There's good news for Holly on the job front too, as she's hired by Krista to oversee the new Lassiters drinks station – a revamped version of the old Drinks Divas van.

Max stays close to Holly's side by helping out as she transitions into the new role, but they soon get distracted by some sexy fun inside the van.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
