After asking Aaron if he'd be their donor, Remi and Cara reconsider their other options. Craving something different to the anonymous donor route they chose before, the couple decide using a known donor feels best for them now.
The extra work Cara's taking on leaves her spread thin and when she comes to fix some faulty guttering at Lassiters, she skips a safety precaution or two in her haste.
Late at night, an absent-minded Holly fails to secure a porter's trolley, which rams into the ladder Cara is working atop of. Cara crashes hard on top of some jagged guttering and is rushed to emergency, where Remi is on call as Cara is brought in.

Meanwhile, Max flirts with Sadie, unaware she's Byron's girlfriend and they're all housemates. Byron interrupts them and sets things straight, but his territorial shtick gets Sadie offside.
When Andrew makes another plea for Sadie to come home, Byron suggests she move into Number 32 permanently… that way Max can move out.
Byron's shoddy handling of the issue upsets Sadie further, but an apology and a more heartfelt plea explaining how much he loves living with her, eventually appeases Sadie. She agrees to move in long term, but wants Byron to prove this is about them, not Max, by letting Max stay on.
Byron accepts, leaving Sadie with the tough task of telling her dad that she really isn't coming home.
Elsewhere, Max starts his trial as EA at Lassiters and Karl is impressed by his worth ethic, so tries to set Max up with Holly, who's thoroughly appalled when she discovers this. Shane is a lovesick mess over Izzy and Karl is running out of words of wisdom, so enlists Paul to help lift Shane's spirits with a boys' night out. It's hardly a success as Shane can't get Izzy off his mind.
Krista finds herself doubting whether Max is suitable for the EA gig and knows it'll be a challenge to convince Paul they shouldn't hire his best mate's son. Krista gets to know Max better and learns he only took the job to please his dad.
Krista interrupts the boys' night to declare Max's Lassiters trial over as hiring him isn't in the best interests of the hotel, or Max. Krista urges Shane to consider what will make his son truly happy.
