Desperate for somewhere to be alone together, Kiri blurts out to a loved-up Nicolette that they should get their own place together. Nicolette instantly agrees. These two know what they want, and they're not going to waste a second.
Nicolette, however, suggests bringing Aaron with them to wherever they move, so Isla doesn't have to be separated from one of her parents. Aaron's on board with the idea, and Kiri's thrilled to witness an emotional moment between Aaron and Nicolette.
To Kiri, it's the confirmation that Nicolette has matured, and is no longer the insecure, manipulative person she used to be.

This belief is shattered, however, when Kiri finds damning evidence on Nicolette's phone that shows she's been keeping a detailed list of Aaron's transgressions.
Meanwhile, following his emotional outburst at the nursery, Toadie is filled with regret and guilt. Struggling to understand where all of this has come from, Toadie asks Terese for patience.
Terese has a heart-to-heart with Susan who confides that Melanie, too, faced conflict with Toadie when they were first dating. Obviously the nursery – having been Sonya's domain – is a real trigger for Toadie. As Terese seeks Melanie's perspective, Melanie offers that Sonya and Dee are part of the package deal for Toadie.
However, the mention of Dee piques Terese's curiosity and she's rocked to realise that Melanie knew about Toadie's crisis around all of his ex-wives before she did.
Elsewhere, Mackenzie finds some of Haz's work notes and learns he's begun considering his future. Although the prospect of moving on from the cafe and returning to IT interests Haz, he's concerned his reputation and past mistakes will stand in his way.
Mackenzie suggests Haz seek advice from someone who knows what it's like to reinvent themself: Paul. Paul can't give Haz any easy answers, but Haz is eager to continue thinking on it.
Also today, Paul apologises to a wary Melanie for having used her as a pawn, and Melanie wonders where the catch is. Paul insists he's genuine about wanting to make amends, and offers Melanie a place to stay at the Lassiters Eclipse Apartments.
Leo later comments on Paul's unusual behaviour, when he goes out of his way to ignore Terese. Leo wonders what type of game Paul's playing at, and Paul insists there is no game. He's simply respecting Terese's wishes. Given that she's moved on with someone else, Paul has decided it's time for him to do the same thing.
