Toadie is surprised to see Willow, who turns up on his doorstep wanting to make sure Andrea is not up to her old tricks. Eager to protect Toadie from her mum's manipulation, Willow makes it clear that she's here to support Toadie and make sure Andrea doesn't cause him more pain, letting Andrea know she's still angry with her for her past crimes.
During her second hypnosis session, Andrea seemingly recovers another vital piece of the story. She reveals to Karl, Toadie and Mark that Ian, the man who they believe saw Dee back in 2009, was staying at the Red Cove Hotel at the time he mistook Andrea for a woman named 'Karen'.
With this new piece of information, Mark is able to track down Ian. It seems like the pieces may finally be falling into place.
Meanwhile, Pierce scrambles to convince Chloe she is not the object of his affection, as Ebony stands by wondering who a mortified Chloe is. Chloe flees, sharing her embarrassment with Aaron and David. At The Waterhole for breakfast, Chloe again comes face to face with Pierce and Ebony. She tries to hide, but when Pierce leaves to attend to business, Ebony invites Chloe to join her – wanting to know all about Pierce's old flame.
Chloe gets the distinct impression that something isn't quite right with Ebony and later shares her fear with Aaron and David. They warn her not to get involved, but will Chloe be able to heed their advice?
Elsewhere, Kyle and Gary realise they have both put in a proposal for the tram renovation, and though feeling awkward about the situation, both are keen to win. But after reading their applications, Karl realises they have complimentary skills and experience and decides he wants to hire them both for the project. Will Kyle and Gary agree to work together?
