Home and Away's Brax will meet his son for the first time after Ricky Sharpe brings the newborn into the prison.
Emotional scenes will see Brax (Steve Peacocke) introduced to his baby, but the moment is tinged with sadness that he won't be around to see his child grow up.
Although Brax is instantly besotted with the baby, he is overcome with sadness and apologises to Ricky (Bonnie Sveen) for his absence.
As the pair come up with a fitting name for their son, Ricky remains stoic as she comforts Brax through the emotional ordeal.
However, as she says her goodbyes to Brax and leaves the prison, it all becomes too much for Ricky and she breaks down in tears.
Sveen told TV Week: "Ricky is excited to introduce the baby to Brax. But, deep down, she also knows it would be harrowing for him too.

"Ricky is no longer able to compose herself. She doesn't feel the need to try to underplay her sadness. She is able to feel the truth, which is she's lonely and struggling and a bit hopeless."
Home and Away airs these scenes next week in Australia and later in the summer for UK viewers.
