Defying the AVO, Jacob calls Bree in a rage as she's torn between her love and fear of Jacob. Fearing for her, Remi snatches the phone and orders Jacob to stop calling. Bree accuses Remi of not understanding relationships, but she is shocked to learn that he's in love with her.
Remi's admission sends Bree into fearful retreat. Remi's desperation to protect Bree resembles Jacob's controlling behaviour to a traumatised Bree.
