Justin and John's rivalry continues to ramp up. The competition between the two goes into overdrive when Roo announces the dealership has donated a car for first place.
When John berates Marilyn for helping Justin, the two men get into a verbal sparring match, forcing Alf to intervene. Alf tells them to pull their heads in. This does little to damper their competitive spirit and the two wager $1,000 on the outcome of the tournament.
Meanwhile, with Tane upset about his family not being able to come to the wedding, Nikau sees it as his duty as best man to fix it. Tane later tells Felicity the plan to go to New Zealand for a trip. Felicity says they should use Gary's money to do a massive trip around all of New Zealand.

Having seen how much family means to Tane, Felicity starts thinking about she can honour him and his family. She seeks out Nikau, seeking his help writing and performing her speech in Te Reo Māori.
Felicity enlists Eden's help to put some vows together, but continues to struggle. Eventually, Eden gets Felicity to open up about what Tane means to her. Felicity remembers when Tane first mentioned a future with her, she freaked out. Now she can't imagine a life without him.
Later, Eden is aghast to discover the wedding dresses have been stolen from the van and she's now on the hook for $12,000.
