Ziggy is rushed to hospital after falling down the stairs at Salt. Following the ultrasound, the baby is given the all clear. This relief is short-lived as Bree notices Ziggy is bleeding. While further tests come back clear, the emotion of the day has got the better of the couple – Ziggy is apologising and promising to listen more to Dean, while Dean continues his bullish protectiveness.
Bree, still affected from her recent domestic violence ordeal, misreads this and starts to worry there might be something more insidious going on. Bree informs Ziggy she will have to stay overnight for observation. While Dean is getting an overnight bag, Bree queries a clueless Ziggy about the bruises on her leg and her home life. In the end, Bree fears Dean is abusing Ziggy and calls the police to report him for domestic violence.
Meanwhile, with the golf charity event now a week away, Marilyn and Alf are concerned that Roo hasn't got a major sponsor yet. However, Roo gets a positive call from a car dealership interested in having a face to face meeting.
Elsewhere, Stacey challenges Xander's understanding of what a relationship can be, and after receiving some sage advice from Irene, Xander becomes determined to be more open-minded. Stacey is happy that Xander is giving the whole open-relationship a try and has a date set up for tomorrow, but she makes it clear that she doesn't need to know next time.
