Kirby furiously chastises Theo for letting the band down. However, from her voicemail, Theo had assumed that Bob was replacing him for the whole gig. Putting their miscommunication aside, Kirby and Theo put Bob behind them.
The happy couple's fresh start comes to a halt when they discover Bob sleeping in his car on the street. Taking pity, Kirby invites Bob inside. When Bob admits he's broke and can't afford petrol money to leave town, Kirby gives him some money. But it comes with conditions – Bob needs to leave now.
Meanwhile, at the motel, Remi admits his attraction to Bree, but he is at a loss as the timing is all wrong. Moved, Bree pulls Remi into a passionate kiss. Later, wrapped in one others' arms in bed, Bree admits that for the first time in a long time, she feels safe.
Elsewhere, Mackenzie thinks Lyrik's cancelled gig reflects poorly on her restaurant. Justin prepares himself to face the music – and Mac's wrath. The band cop an ear full of outrage from Mac, who demands they reimburse her lost earnings from the cancelled gig. Totalling over $2,000, Justin offers to pay. A guilty Theo insists on paying it himself, but how is he going to get that kind of money?
