Roo, Alf and Irene orchestrate a reconciliation between Marilyn and Leah. But with Leah sworn to secrecy about Heather, their grievances can't be aired. When Marilyn gets a text from Heather during the meeting, she rushes off without explanation.
Heather makes a magnanimous gesture of friendship to Marilyn. Grateful to have a second chance with her daughter, Marilyn pulls her into a hug. Heather apologises for skipping town so suddenly, explaining that it all just got too intense.
Heather admits that she is responsible for the break in at Leah's. But when Marilyn claims that Leah will forgive her, Heather hesitates at the idea of apologising. Mulling it over, Heather conceives an idea to win back Marilyn's friends. Marilyn is glad that Heather is seemingly making such an effort to repair.

The digital invites for brunch go out to Marilyn's friends as a surprise. They are all confused. When Leah calls Marilyn for clarification, Heather confiscates Marilyn's phone. Meanwhile, a concerned Dean wants answers about why Ziggy cancelled their 12-week ultrasound. A tightly-wound Ziggy explains that she's scared to discover something wrong with the baby. Dean is understanding but insists that the sooner they see a doctor the better. Swallowing her fear, Ziggy agrees.
