Home and Away: Remi responds to Bree's secret

Remi is reeling after the shock news that Bree is married. Indignant, Remi asks why she didn't mention it before he humiliated himself repeatedly. Bree explains her husband Jacob's absence – he is a fly in, fly out mechanic in the mines. They are in love and have been since high school.

Remi agrees to be friends but confirms that her husband is a lucky man. Bree is touched by Remi's magnanimity. To Bree's amusement, Remi quickly picks up an attractive nurse at the hospital.

When the band have a musical reunion at the hospital, it's rudely interrupted by a curt Cash on police business, wanting to interview Remi about the assault. Eden clocks Cash's attitude and decides to intervene.

With a peace offering of pizza, Eden shows up at the police station, determined to get some answers out of Cash. An upfront Eden lists all the things that have gone wrong for Cash. Cash turns the questions back on Eden, asking why they didn't work out. Eden is honest – Cash wanted serious, and Eden doesn't do serious. It seems Cash is resolved to no longer be Mr Nice Guy.

With so many gigs being requested, Lyrik struggle under the logistical weight of band admin. While Remi is distracted by women, and Eden is focussed on Cash, Kirby and Theo get left with all the responsibility. Their hard work goes unappreciated by Eden, which sends Kirby off in a rage.

Meanwhile, Roo comes knocking on Heather's door, hoping to turn her negative tutoring reviews around. A seemingly compassionate Heather is happy to post a glowing review, asking whether Roo suspects Marilyn is behind the online slander. Roo defeatedly hopes not since Marilyn is her best friend. When Roo leaves, Heather gives a triumphant smile. It seems her plans against Marilyn are transpiring.

Marilyn nervously awaits news from the cybercrime unit about her claim. Alf can't stand the tension in his house, offering to take Marilyn to the hospital to get her medication checked. Trying to appease their concerns, but keep her relationship to Heather a secret, Marilyn concedes. As Marilyn anticipated, Bree gives the all clear – she doesn't need adjustments to her medication.

On a clandestine mission, Marilyn creeps into Heather's unoccupied van, witnessed by Heather. Realising an opportunity to further incriminate Marilyn, Heather calls the police to report a break-in. Caught in the act by a gruff Cash on duty, Marilyn is sheepish. Cash is forced to arrest Marilyn, who refuses to explain her break-in. But when Heather decides not to press charges, Marilyn is let off the hook. Alf and Roo are grateful to Heather for being so compassionate.

Marilyn confronts Heather with evidence – the birth certificate she found in Heather's van. Marilyn knows Heather is her daughter. Heather's face turns serious – good. Now they can stop pretending.
