When Theo gets a disciplinary call from his TAFE tutor alleging that Justin completed his assignment, Theo's furious. Confronting Justin, Theo announces that he got the distinction himself because he rewrote the assignment.
Leah and Justin are guilt-stricken. Theo feels betrayed by his alleged supporters, and now faces investigation by the TAFE. Justin's attempts to placate the TAFE out of an investigation fail miserably.

Upon reflection, Felicity realises she tends to be a bad influence. Dean advises Mackenzie to accept help from others, instead of fighting her battles alone. Hearing him out, Mackenzie tries to smooth things over with an embittered Felicity. Mac's humility wins Felicity back on side. The two women put their heads together and decide on a business plan: to recruit an investor in Salt.
Elsewhere, Chloe's enthusiasm for gym admin leads her to discover the sale of business documents. Shocked, Chloe discovers how much money Mia and Ari paid for the gym. Confused, she turns to Tane and asks how they could afford it without a loan. An evasive Tane shuts down the conversation, leaving Chloe curious. How did Mia and Ari get the huge amount of money to buy the gym outright?
