Home and Away: Ziggy returns to face Dean

An apprehensive Ziggy returns to Summer Bay after her argument with Dean. Mackenzie encourages them to clear the air, but Ziggy fears their relationship is on the rocks. A stubborn Mac forces Ziggy to bite the bullet and face Dean. True to her suspicions, Dean is still angry that Ziggy walked out on him and stomps off to bed.

The next day, both admit that they've missed each other and fall into a relieved kiss. But their romantic bliss is short-lived, as Ziggy's concerns about the River Boys go unaddressed. Deep down, her fear is that Dean will endanger his life by associating with them.

Mackenzie puts Ziggy's concerns in perspective – Logan just left with nothing more than a voicemail. Ziggy is devastated for her friend's heartbreak. Putting aside their problems, Ziggy informs Dean that Logan has skipped town. They are worried for Mackenzie.

Meanwhile, Rose arrives to meet Cash for a drink after his drunken invitation. She's surprised to find it's just the two of them. Quickly realising Cash is a few drinks deep, Rose plays catch up.

In the end, Mac kicks a giggly and unstable Cash out of Salt. Rose escorts a drunk and protesting Cash out. Worried that Jasmine will see him drunk, Cash begs Rose not to take him home, so they go for a sobering walk.

In the morning, Felicity and Tane stumble across Rose's fogged-up parked car. Giddy with curiosity, Felicity knocks on the window to discover who Rose spent a steamy night in her car with, but is shocked by what she sees: Cash and Rose. Horrified, Felicity rushes off.

Guilt-stricken Cash asks Rose how they ended up in her car together. Amused, Rose insists that nothing happened between them, she was just too drunk to drive them home. Rose's reassurances can't quell Cash's concerns – Felicity saw them together. She will assume the worst.

Soaking up their hangovers with greasy food, Rose and Cash face Irene's questions at the Diner. She didn't hear Cash come home last night. Rose thinks quickly, claiming that they were doing undercover work. Irene accepts the alibi, but Cash is crumbling under the pressure of the lie, scared of what Jasmine will assume. Mildly offended by his regret, Rose tells Cash to call someone else next time he's drunk.

An ashamed Cash shows up on Felicity's doorstep, but she won't let him off easy. A defensive Cash declares that nothing happened between him and Rose, but his memory is hazy. Felicity warns that things are about to get a lot messier when he tells Jasmine. Firm, Cash insists that he's not telling Jasmine, and neither is Felicity.

Elsewhere, Tane notices a lovesick Nikau needs some support. But Nikau isn't ready to be comforted by a loved-up Tane and pushes him away. After having a heart-warming phone conversation with Bella, Nikau feels reassured and apologises to Tane. Nikau hasdecided to keep himself busy at work to make the time go faster until Bella's return. Tane is happy that Nikau has found a solution.

Alf asks Nikau if he can help Marilyn out with running the bait shop while he's away, but Nikau is sorry to say that he has got his hands full with lifeguarding. As the responsibilities pile up, Marilyn gets confused and Alf worries Marilyn isn't up to the task.
