Felicity frantically tries to stem the blood from Tane's stab wound. She screams at Mac to call an ambulance, but Dean interjects. He points out that if they call an ambulance, the police will get involved and the underground poker operation could be exposed. A weakened Tane implores Felicity to agree – no cops. Instead, Dean commands Mackenzie to call Logan for help.
Logan is shocked to find Tane stabbed, but even more shocked that they haven't called an ambulance. Logan gets to work on Tane, in full doctor mode. His assessment is grim – Tane needs emergency surgery. If Tane can't be taken to hospital, Logan will need surgical supplies from the hospital.
Left alone with a barely conscious Tane, Mackenzie confesses to Logan about her debts and the poker nights. Logan is astonished by her deception. She has been lying to him for weeks about this.
At the hospital, Dean arrives with Ziggy, giving her the lowdown on Tane's stabbing. Ziggy is quick to catch up, realising the urgency of their mission. Ziggy folds over in feigned agony, clutching her stomach. Hospital staff flock around her, providing Dean the perfect decoy to raid the medical storeroom.
The couple return with the supplies, just as Tane is losing consciousness. Logan commands Dean to get cleaned up in preparation for surgical assistance.
With Tane's condition improved, they set him up in bed at home with IV fluids. A calm Ziggy informs Nikau that his uncle has been stabbed, but he's okay. Nikau is relieved to see Tane is alive and well. But when Tane asks where Ari is, Felicity and Nikau exchange a nervous glance. Has Tane forgotten about Ari's death?
Nikau is suddenly alarmed by how cold Tane's hand has become when Tane suddenly loses consciousness. Logan goes into emergency mode, claiming that Tane has lost too much blood. Felicity and Nikau look on in horror – could this all have been for nothing?
Meanwhile, Rose can't shake her feelings of concern that Felicity is hiding something over PK. There's something more going on here.
