Felicity remains strongly opposed to the idea of inviting PK to the poker night. However, Mac won't budge as PK has already tripled his buy-in to get a seat at the table. Felicity turns to Tane for advice and he suggests doing a background check on PK without telling Mac.
Felicity continues to get a bad feeling from PK, as there's something not right about him. But her background check comes back clear. PK is new to the scene and plays well, but other than that, nobody knows much.
Later, PK tells Mac that he wants to run a super exclusive poker night – 1 table, 10 players and a $5,000 buy in. Mackenzie's interest is piqued. Felicity is alarmed but keeps a bright face for Mackenzie.

Meanwhile, Alf apologises to Roo for being too critical of her health kick program. He explains it is only out of concern for Martha, which Roo shares. They agree that it's best for Martha if they keep the positivity up, instead of taking shots at one another. A tense truce ensues…for now.
However, Alf can barely keep a lid on his protectiveness of Martha. When Roo leaves Martha at home to pick up some food from the Diner, Alf snaps again. Alf fears that anything could happen to Martha while she's alone. Roo can't get a break from Alf's criticism.
Elsewhere, Rose works her first shift at the Yabbie Creek police station, but is surprised to find small town policing is a little bit slow. She struggles to adapt to such an anti-climactic work environment. Stuck in the dull, quiet police station office, Rose sends a paper plane flying onto Cash's desk. Inside is a handwritten note, reading: 'I'm bored'. Feeling playful, Cash sends it back with 'Join the club' inscribed.
Later, an overzealous Rose pulls over a grumpy Alf for speeding. Rose could be getting a bitter taste of what by-the-book policing will get you in Summer Bay.
