Chloe and Theo stop for a roadside snack. Theo asks what Chloe is running away from. Glad to have a considerate listener, Chloe explains that Bella kicked her out. Theo isn't ready to go home either. Chloe knows a place they can go… her place.
Finding the house empty, Chloe invites Theo to stay. Unsure of Chloe's intentions, Theo hesitates. To clarify, Chloe leans in and kisses him, then pulls him towards her bedroom.
As Nikau arrives home to pack a bag, he walks in on Chloe kissing a shirtless Theo goodbye. Nikau is shocked. Chloe falls apart, fearing she has made a terrible decision by sleeping with Theo. Nikau tries to support her, offering to help. But the only help Chloe wants is Bella's.

Meanwhile, Leah decides to call Cassandra. Leah is surprised to learn that Cassandra wanted to leave Dimitri for years but was waiting for Theo to stand on his own two feet.
Leah is taken aback by Cassandra's inference that Theo was endangered. But Cassandra won't spill, instructing Leah to discuss it with Theo instead.
