Ziggy and Tane bring Mac home from the hospital and try to offer her some simple comforts – a home cooked meal and some company, but she is having neither and isolates herself to the bedroom. Ziggy worries that Mac isn't dealing with the loss of the baby properly.
Tane continues to search for work. Ziggy suggests covering some shifts at Salt, just as Mac appears from her room and shoots the idea down. Her attitude is at an all-new low, with her anger pointed at the nearest Parata – who happens to be sitting in her living room.
Later on, Ziggy tries to offer Mac support, but Mac pushes back on it and admits she's not comfortable with seeing Tane around the house all the time.
What to Read Next
With a tub of ice-cream, Mac opens her laptop, only to be faced with the reminder of the pregnancy blog she was looking at before she was rushed to hospital. Utter despair flows from her body and she succumbs to the sadness within – all alone.
Meanwhile, Lewis and Jasmine get a catered hamper from Irene at the Diner and prepare for their romantic picnic at the lighthouse when Lewis receives a text about the autopsy findings. Jasmine can see Lewis is completely distracted by the news and encourages him to head to the hospital instead of going through with their date.
Willow and Amber continue their discussion about Willow's future, with Amber refusing to relent on her friend's happiness. Jasmine arrives past them with her hamper full and offers for the three of them to have a picnic together instead.
When Willow leaves to grab a drink, Jasmine takes the opportunity to remind Amber that Willow will move on when she's ready, but Amber refuses to let the matter go. Willow confesses about how hurt she was after Alex left.
Amber checks out Alex's social media account to discover Alex is still single, to Willow's delight. Taking a risk, Willow calls Alex and leaves a message to open their communication line.
Elsewhere, spotting Tori and Christian on the pier, Jasmine goes to approach Christian to see if she can mend their fractured relationship. Christian apologises for being so dismissive towards her. She congratulates him on the positive outcome to the findings.
Jasmine finds Lewis, stewing in Salt about the findings. He lets slip that he has seen the report, but when Jasmine questions that, he quickly covers the truth of letting himself into Tori's office and using her computer without authorisation to do so.
Jasmine is surprised to hear Lewis still talk so negatively about Christian when the outcome of the investigation has finalised. She can't put her finger on Lewis's relentless pursuit of him. Finally, it's Lewis's words about making Christian pay which raises the biggest alarm for Jasmine.
