Ryder shows Owen around town, finally ending up at the Diner, to the delight of Irene. When Owen and Ryder return back to the caravan park, Roo is impatiently waiting.
Owen and Roo have a cup of tea, but Roo becomes overwhelmed with grief. After she runs from Owen, she decides to face her fears and asks Owen on a dinner date at Salt. Owen asks Roo if everything is okay, but when she opens up to him, she worries she has said too much.
Meanwhile, Justin spends time with Ava, who still doesn't know about her father's condition. Justin tries his best to hide his pain, but Leah worries he's pushing himself unnecessarily.
