Mason tells Justin they need to start thinking about what happens next, since things aren't looking good for Tori. It's too much for Justin, who abruptly leaves. Leah follows, leaving Ben and Maggie to realise life is pretty rough for the Morgans right now. Leah catches up to Justin, who explains that he can't handle Mason's negativity. Unless Mason has concrete news about a change in Tori's situation, he can't discuss it. As Leah suggested, he's trying to stay positive – that's what's getting him through.

The next day, Mason gets a call from Tori's specialist and attempts again to talk to Justin about their sister. Justin refuses and escapes. Leah sees this and Mason confides in her, insisting that Justin can't keep avoiding reality. Leah explains that Justin isn't avoiding, he's struggling with the idea of a bad outcome. Mason gets it and feels the same way, but argues that just because he has a medical background, doesn't mean he should have to make big decisions alone. He heads off, leaving Leah concerned for both brothers.

Mason finally gets Justin to sit down and talk. He explains Tori's doctors want to look at her next phase of care, given that she's still in a minimal function state. Justin loses it, protesting that Tori is going to be fine. He strides out, leaving Mason devastated. How is he going to get Justin to face reality about Tori's future?

Jasmine Delaney and Robbo Shaw come to an agreement in Home and Away
Channel 5

Meanwhile, Jasmine is still reeling after Robbo sent the AFP lawyer away. He insists that he didn't want to go over the gory details of the case in front of his daughter – and doesn't want to do it now either. Jasmine doesn't argue, instead turning to Irene to debrief when she buys takeaway dinner. She points out that, although it was painful going over recent traumatic events, they need to give their statement at some point.

When Jasmine returns, Robbo apologises for snapping at her. He explains that he's trying to protect Grace from the darkness of his past. Robbo knows she's only a baby, but she can sense stuff and he wants their home to be a safe space. Jasmine agrees, but the world will also be safer for Grace once Des and Victor are behind bars, which means cooperating with the AFP lawyer.

Robbo agrees to call Lance, but the moment Lance picks up, Robbo tells him they'll only talk to the lawyer on their terms. Robbo later reveals he worked out a plan where they can meet the lawyer at the city office. It means leaving Grace behind, but it'll be worth it. Jasmine catches Irene up on the arrangement, happy things are finally settling down.

Later, Robbo opens the door in shock – his parents, Wendy and Ian have turned up. It's an emotional reunion – they're so happy to see him as they feared they may never do so again. Wendy and Ian are smitten with Grace, noting that she looks like Robbo's deceased daughter Sophia. But when Robbo puts Grace to bed, Ian and Wendy take in the apartment with disapproval. They think the place is overcrowded, and no place to raise a family.

Elsewhere, Alf's dinner plans with Martha are foiled when her art class in Yabbie Creek runs late. He's disappointed but stoic and also bemused at Martha texting her every move – he doesn't need blow by blow descriptions of what she's doing elsewhere.

When Martha cancels again at lunch, Alf begins to realise that life with her has turned out very differently to what he anticipated. Roo reminds him that Martha is an independent person who is doing her own thing – maybe he should too, because Martha wouldn't want him to sit around waiting for her. Alf is left with food for thought.
