Justin and Leah return from visiting Tori in the city hospital. Justin is clearly struggling – the strain of his life and having to be strong for his family are pushing him to breaking point. After a tense phone call with Brody, Justin bumps into Robbo and Grace. Near breaking point, Justin oddly rejects an offer by Robbo to hold Grace and makes an excuse to leave.
When Justin arrives at his garage to find Dean helping Ziggy work on a customer's car, he loses it and sends Ziggy and Dean packing. Leah learns of this and heads to the garage to check on Justin, only to receive similar treatment.
Later, Justin comes to Leah to apologise and she makes it clear he can't push her away every time he's hurting. Justin opens up about how he's feeling, admitting that he misses Tori so much, as she has always been there to help him carry the load. Leah sympathises – she knows she's not Tori, but she's willing to try and fill her shoes temporarily by being Justin's partner in crime. Leah insists Justin doesn't need to be strong for her.
What to Read Next
Meanwhile, Ben's Boards is re-opening tomorrow and there is still a heap of work to do. Ben's trying to appear confident and on top of things, but deep down he is full of doubt and fear.
When Maggie learns from John and Ziggy that Ben has gone AWOL, she heads out to search for him. She finds him sitting on the sand, trying to take some steadying breaths. Ben admits that he was feeling overwhelmed in the shop and it all got too much for him. Maggie manages to talk Ben down, then urges him to try not to let how he's feeling now overshadow the good things in his life.
At the shop, Ziggy and Dean finish preparing for the reopening. The shop is ready to go but Ziggy is feeling down as there's still one thing missing – her dad. Later, after Ziggy and Dean have reported back to Ben that the shop is good to go, Ben considers the support his family and friends have shown him and is struck by a fresh determination to succeed. He tells Maggie that he has decided to start taking his medication again, side effects be damned. He must make the shop work and taking the medication gives him the best chance of doing that.
Elsewhere, having been summoned by Ryder, John rushes to Marilyn's side. It's difficult for her to put into words, but after some encouragement from John, she admits that she misses Raffy and is struggling to deal with the whole sad situation the Morgan family are in. Marilyn rallies, claims to be fine but John is left worried.
Also today, Robbo is exhausted, as life as a solo parent isn't easy. He returns to work at the gym but struggles to get back into the swing of things.
