Bella catches on to Mackenzie's doubts about her relationship with Colby and she is not impressed. She vents to Dean about the situation, but he warns her to let them figure it out themselves. Bella doesn't listen to him and instead storms into Salt and confronts Mackenzie.
Mackenzie is taken aback but once Bella has left, she admits to Dean that she is having doubts about her relationship with Colby. Dean asks that if she is going to break up with Colby, that she does it quickly.
Meanwhile, Irene visits Leah to get an explanation over why she deactivated her blog. Irene feels that by removing the blog, Leah is letting Tommy 'win'. Leah says Tommy had nothing to do with it. Although she felt the blog was important and it gave her a voice, it was becoming too stressful. Irene doesn't completely understand but is supportive of Leah. Irene thanks Leah for all her support, saying she wouldn't have got through without her. They both agree that they should focus on the future.
What to Read Next
Leah mentions that she would love to get away for a couple of days with Justin, but this idea is short-lived when Justin walks in, talking on the phone with a concerned expression. He announces that Nina is struggling with her divorce and needs him to come and pick up Ava and look after her until further notice. Irene and Leah follow him out to the car and wave goodbye. Leah's new normal may be busier than she had planned.
Elsewhere, things are still rocky for Ben, which becomes clear when he tells John that although the cops have made an arrest in Indonesia, the charges against him haven't been dropped. Maggie overhears this conversation and rallies Ziggy to help her find work for Ben to boost his morale. Ziggy asks Dean if Ben could take on his surf lessons, but Dean says unfortunately there's no lessons booked until next week.
John suggests they should offer free lessons – this works and one customer books in. Ziggy organises for Ben to take the lesson, telling him Dean is busy and can't do it. The surf lesson goes well and Ben's spirits seem to lift. However, John soon puts his foot in it by boasting to Ben that he was the one who suggested the great business ploy of free lessons. Ben realises it was a plan orchestrated by his family and he feels embarrassed. He tells them to all go to hell and storms out of the restaurant.
At the farm house, Dean and Ziggy argue over who was at fault, both claiming it was their own. Maggie steps in and says it was Ben's fault, not either of theirs and she storms out to find him. Ben is standing on the beach when Maggie confronts him. She says his behaviour is unacceptable and he needs to speak to a counsellor, someone who can help him because she is "done". Will her words sink in and encourage him to get help?
