2. John considers fleeing
John's first nightmare sees him dream about being arrested for Nate's murder. Back to reality, workers are already dredging the lake where Nate's body was hidden.
John considers fleeing the village and he drives off after frantically packing his belongings. However, when John receives a caring text from Aaron and realises that the dredging has been cancelled for now, he decides to stick around and go ahead with the ceremony.
3. Aidan is next to pose a threat
John's woes take another turn when he learns that Aidan has woken from his coma and is asking to see him. This sparks another creepy vision, as John imagines what would happen if Aidan interrupted the ceremony.
As John reluctantly leaves for the hospital with Aidan's mum Cathleen, a concerned Aaron follows him there. When Aaron spots a cosy moment between the former couple, he mistakenly assumes that John still loves Aidan and immediately calls off the wedding.
4. It's make or break for Aaron and John
John rushes after Aaron and desperately pleads his case, while Belle, Chas and Victoria try to make excuses for the missing grooms in front of their guests.
When John manages to talk Aaron round, they head to the venue as planned. Mack is mysteriously absent, so Paddy steps in as best man at the last minute.
Are the dramas of the day over, or just beginning? We suspect you know the answer…
5. Sarah receives a diagnosis
Sarah heads to the hospital alone to receive her biopsy results. She's told that she has the early stages of cervical cancer. As Sarah is still keen to have a baby, she's relieved to learn that she may still be able to get pregnant.
Jacob is on shift at the hospital and heads over to check that she's okay. Finally ready to talk to someone, Sarah breaks down as she tells Jacob that she has just been diagnosed with cancer.
6. Jacob and Sarah clash over her baby plans
When Jacob asks Sarah how the doctors found out about her cancer, she explains that she was initially undergoing tests because she wants a baby.
Jacob's mood suddenly changes as he quizzes Sarah on whether this is really the right decision, given her limited life expectancy and various health issues. Jacob argues that it'd be unfair for Sarah's child to lose its mum at a young age and brands her selfish for wanting a baby.
Later, the shocks continue for Jacob as he realises that he's the only one who knows about Sarah's cancer and her IVF plans.
7. Joe is hit with some home truths
Joe and Dawn are wrong-footed when a social worker arrives to investigate a safeguarding concern.
Although it's quickly established that no further action is needed, Joe realises that he needs to work much harder to repair his relationship with Clemmie after cruelly threatening her earlier this month. The challenges continue when Clemmie goes missing while under Joe's care.
8. Billy and Joe's feud rumbles on
Billy continues to interfere in Dawn's life by suggesting that she should move out of Home Farm alongside the kids, so they're all away from Joe. Dawn refuses, so Billy accuses her of still having feelings for Joe.
Later, Dawn admits that she's exhausted by the never-ending arguments with Billy. Joe has a plan to deal with the situation, but will it pay off?
9. Mackenzie gets trapped while on a mission
Ross steals Lewis's house keys and gets Mackenzie to break in to find more cannabis plants. There are pound signs in Mack's eyes as he finds a big cannabis farm in Lewis's attic, but he realises it'll be an impossible task to steal it as the stash is so big.
Later, Lewis gets a phone alert to warn him that there's an intruder in his attic. He realises that it's Mack and guesses that Ross has played a role in this unexpected crime.
10. Lewis gives Ross a final ultimatum
Mack gets trapped in the attic and Lewis communicates with him through the phone app. An embarrassed Ross is forced to admit that he orchestrated the robbery.
Lewis warns that he'll only let Mack go if Ross finally tells him the truth about how his mum died. Will Ross expose the truth and potentially land Moira in big trouble?
