Emmerdale spoilers (November 14 to 18)

Next week on Emmerdale, Chas has reason to worry as more than one person gets closer to the truth about her affair.

Elsewhere, Moira makes a drastic decision over her future, while Samson's latest bad behaviour devastates Amelia.

1. Chas leaves Paddy suspicious

When Kerry invites Chas to attend Al's funeral, Chas is forced to decline as Liv's ashes are being scattered at the same time. Chas struggles to contain her emotions, wanting to be there for Al's send-off.

Chas feels worse when she hears that there was a poor turn-out at Al's funeral. After secretly reading through Al's order of service, Chas breaks down in front of Paddy.

Later, Paddy tells Lydia that he's worried there could be more to Chas' outbursts than she's letting on.

2. Kerry discovers that Al was cheating

Following the revelation that Al took out a loan in Belle's name before he died, Chloe starts to suspect that he was having an affair. She goes through Al's credit card statements with Victoria, hoping to find an explanation.

Chloe's theory is confirmed when Al's estate agent calls, confirming that he had bought a house to live in with "his partner and her child". Kerry is devastated when Chloe lets her know what was going on behind her back.

Kerry doesn't know who the other woman was, so she turns to Chas – of all people – for some support. Chas feels guilty about Kerry leaning on her like this, but she encourages Kerry to make a big decision.

3. Samson makes a shocking decision

When Amelia starts to doubt her abilities as a mum, Lydia decides to give her a break by forcing Samson to spend some time with Esther for a while. Samson is not impressed and begs Amelia to consider putting the baby up for adoption.

Amelia refuses and makes it clear that she believes Esther is better off with her family. After Samson rows with Noah over the situation, he makes a drastic move by calling social services and begging them to take Esther into care.

4. Amelia receives an upsetting visit

Amelia and Dan are shocked when the social worker arrives, revealing that a complaint has been made about Esther's welfare.

Sam discovers that Samson was responsible and angrily confronts his teenage son for being so cruel. As they row, Samson harshly declares that he doesn't want to be anything like his father. Suddenly, Sam's health takes another turn for the worse as he collapses.

5. Moira can't cope with the lies

Moira pays another visit to Cain in prison, but is visibly agitated over the ongoing cover-up surrounding Kyle's guilt in Al's murder case.

Cain worries when Moira declares that she's not cut out for this. Moira adds that Amy seems to have the right idea by fleeing from the village.

6. Mack shares bad news with Cain

Mack heads to the prison later in the week and shocks Cain by revealing that he knows the truth about Kyle.

Mack adds that Moira has left the village with Isaac, taking him to Belfast. As Cain reels, Mack has to deal with the fallout from his sister's decision.

7. Naomi helps Nicola

Naomi catches up with Nicola in the village following the trial.

Nicola is surprised by Naomi's sincerity and gains a new sense of closure from the conversation.

8. Liv's final send-off descends into chaos

It's time for Liv's ashes to be scattered, but Vinny still isn't sure whether he's ready to say goodbye.

The decision is taken out of Vinny's hands when Chip the dog intervenes, which leads to the ashes being scattered all over Vinny. Much to everyone's surprise, Vinny sees the funny side and collapses with laughter.

9. David has a big favour to ask

David needs to turn around the shop's fortunes, so he decides to launch a delivery service. However, he immediately hits a hurdle when he gets a speeding ticket and realises that he could lose his licence.

David asks Victoria to intervene by falsely taking the blame for the speeding.
