1. Emmerdale: Cheating Chas and Al are caught out

(Monday and Tuesday at 7.30pm on ITV)

Chas and Al enjoy another hotel hook-up this week and it's clear their affair is becoming emotional as well as physical. But as the lovers leave, they're spotted in a passionate embrace by Belle, who's disgusted to realise what has been going on.

While Chas fears Belle will spill the beans to Paddy, Faith meets with her palliative care nurse, who tells her that it's important to die with no regrets.

Inspired by her words, Faith makes a final to-do list, which includes a big party with her loved ones, and tells Chas not to make the same mistakes she did. Cain is reluctant to attend his mum's farewell bash, but Moira is adamant it's the right thing to do.

Later at the pub, Faith takes centre stage as she belts out her karaoke tune, but the celebrations are cut short when she suddenly collapses on the floor.

What to Read Next

After being rushed to hospital, Faith is seen by the doctors, while guilt-ridden Chas takes her hurt and frustration out on a bewildered Paddy. Finally, the couple are allowed in to see Faith, but Chas is met with a distressing scene when her ailing parent says she can no longer see properly.

2. Coronation Street: The fight to prove Stu's innocence continues

(Wednesday at 8pm on ITV)

Having paid to get their hands on Stu's case files, Zeedan and Alya examine the evidence and discover one of his taped police interviews is missing. Adam also points out the veteran was questioned for over 10 hours, which is against the rules.

Searching for further proof, the siblings speak to Stu's solicitor, Norman, who confirms his client was coerced into making a confession. His admission leaves Alya in no doubt Stu was framed for murder, and she urges her gran to allow him to move back in.

Finally convinced of his innocence, Yasmeen heads to the prison and is waiting for Stu as he's released. Back on the cobbles, Yasmeen tells Stu she believes he didn't murder anyone, but asserts he must let Bridget know of his intentions.

Stu's return to the Street is met with hostility from Dev and Bernie, but Yasmeen is determined to protect her ex and invites him to stay at Number 6.

Tim and Elaine are alarmed and urge her to think twice about aiding a convicted killer. Their reaction leads Stu to offer to pack his bags, but Yasmeen won't hear of it, insisting he needs to stay put so they can work together to clear his name.

3. EastEnders: Janine's wicked secret is at risk

(Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

Still oblivious that Janine framed her for the car crash, Linda is a bag of nerves as she receives the date of her upcoming court hearing. Terrified at the prospect of ending up in prison and being separated from Annie, she turns to Mick for support – much to Janine's annoyance.

With emotions running high, the exes almost end up in a kiss, but are stopped when Jada suddenly arrives. Fearing the competition, Janine flirts with Mick, but he's distracted with thoughts of Linda and urges her to try and remember every detail of the accident, including checking her call log online.

The Carters quickly discover Linda telephoned The Vic that fateful night, which leaves Janine in a state of panic. As Linda prepares for a possible future behind bars, things go from bad to worse for scheming Janine when Sharon reveals she was at the boozer the day of the crash.

Determined to out her best friend's rival, Sharon confronts Janine in front of Mick, declaring she knows who answered Linda's call. How will she get out of that one?

4. Hollyoaks: Shaq and Nadira's wedding ends in disaster

(Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

It's the week of Shaq and Nadira's wedding, but with the groom nowhere to be found, the Maalik family fear history is repeating itself.

Elsewhere, angry Peri spies Nadira and Juliet together and confronts them for continuing their affair. The girls deny it, but when Peri finds proof they're still seeing each other, she declares she's going to stop the wedding.

As the day of the nuptials arrives, both Shaq and Nadira are having second thoughts about going ahead. Peri's attempt to ruin the occasion is unsuccessful when even a shock confession fails to break the couple apart.

As the ceremony gets under way, the bride and groom come to a realisation, leaving them with some serious explaining to do.

Further secrets are exposed and declarations of love are made, and the day ends on a high for two unsuspecting lovebirds, who decide to make the best of a bad situation.

5. Emmerdale: Amelia's pregnancy secret is revealed

(Thursday and Friday at 7.30pm on ITV)

With Noah by her side, Amelia attends her first pregnancy scan and is overcome with awe and relief as the sonographer shows her the first images of her unborn baby.

United by the special moment, Noah and Amelia's relationship continues to blossom, but Harriet is horrified when she spies them kissing.

The next day, Amelia is gutted to receive a poor set of exam results, while Dan and Harriet try to overcompensate for her disappointment.

Later, Harriet comes clean to Dan about Amelia and Noah, who's not happy and storms off to find them.

Meanwhile, in the churchyard, Sam is laying flowers on Alice's grave when he and Lydia hear shouting in the distance.

Going to investigate, the couple are stunned to find an angry Dan mouthing off about Amelia's pregnancy, and as tensions rise Bob is forced to step in to stop him attacking Noah.

6. Coronation Street: Kelly loses control

(Friday at 8pm on ITV)

When Gazette journalist Ellie calls at the Bistro with leaflets promoting a 'Win a Dream Wedding' competition, Kelly claims she and Aadi are planning their own nuptials.

Desperate to bag the free holiday on offer, Kelly assures Aadi they won't actually need to get hitched, just take part in a Mr & Mrs quiz.

While asking each other personal questions, the teens explain that they've never had a sexual relationship. As Aadi leans in for a kiss, he and Kelly end up in bed together.

Later, a loved-up Aadi presents Kelly with Sunita's engagement ring and they head to a nearby hotel to take part in the quiz. Unfortunately, they fail to answer their questions correctly, but Ellie is struck by their natural chemistry and reckons the Gazette readers would love them.

Back on the cobbles, Asha clocks Kelly's ring and confronts her brother – who admits they're only pretending to be engaged to win a holiday. But when Kelly overhears, she's crushed.

After chucking the ring back in Aadi's face, Kelly speeds away in his new car. Giving chase, Aadi soon comes across the vehicle, crashed into a bollard. Has Kelly come to any harm?

7. EastEnders: Stuart's in crisis

(Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

Full of anxiety, Stuart reaches crisis point this week and disposes of his anti-depressants in favour of scoring drugs. After purchasing a pack of pills from a dealer, Stuart has second thoughts and hands them to Jada.

Tragedy strikes when Lily finds them and takes half a pill in a bid to impress Denzel. Denise soon realises the drugs are missing and she and Jack find Amy, who collapses and is rushed to hospital.

Over at the surgery, Stuart refuses to leave without seeing a GP. With the situation escalating, Bernie reaches out to help and apologises to Stuart for not realising he has been living with PND.

Their conversation leads Stuart to conclude he has been misdiagnosed, and with the support of his friends, he's finally able to confront his health problems and make a monumental decision about his future.

8. Hollyoaks: James double-crosses Norma

(Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Norma is an ally down when Warren chooses his family over her this week. Meanwhile, James continues to play the role of her cut-throat accomplice to perfection as he carries on plotting to double-cross her.

When the disgraced lawyer receives a big pay cheque, he decides to rinse Norma dry first. After making out to Norma that he has been reinstated at the law firm, James embarks on a mission to get his job back and manipulates Verity's heartbroken state by offering to lighten the workload.

Later, during a meeting, James is tempted when Norma teases the potential of a whopping cash reward for working with her as long as she trusts him. However, he soon comes unstuck when a mix up leads him to reveal he has bugged the briefcase.

James is soon left with a big decision to make, which leads to long-suffering Ste turning his back on him once and for all.

9. Home and Away: Tane makes a deal with the devil

(Wednesday at 1.45pm on Channel 5)

Tane is reeling in shock after discovering Tex's true identity and learning that Ari stole $150,000 from the biker gang. After being let go by the group, he returns to the Bay and reveals the truth to Nikau, but makes his nephew swear to secrecy.

With the gang refusing to back down until they've got their money back, the Paratas agree the only way to keep their family safe is by selling the gym. Tex has a better plan, though, and announces the bikies want to use the gym to launder money.

Tane is forced to go along with the illegal plan and fills Nikau in on the situation, but the pair decide to not to tell Felicity and Chloe. However, Nikau can't shake off his fears and starts keeping a close eye on Chloe, much to her and Theo's bemusement.

When Chloe questions his overprotectiveness, Nikau reveals she's in danger, but won't explain why. Chloe's alarmed by the warning and speaks to Felicity, who dismisses her concerns, insisting Tane would have mentioned if anything was wrong.
