Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has lifted some of its filming restrictions for the soap's upcoming siege drama, which will see Victoria Barton and Wendy Posner held at gunpoint.
In scenes set to air next week, evil newcomer Russ holds Victoria and Wendy hostage at The Hide café, with Russ willing to resort to drastic measures to get the inheritance money that his late mother left to Victoria's baby Harry.
Emmerdale viewers will have to wait and see if anyone is hurt in the stand-off, for which the actors involved have formed a 'bubble'.

Speaking about the upcoming drama, Susan Cookson (Wendy Posner) revealed that the scenes were an "absolute joy" to film – in part because the soap lifted some of its social distancing rules for the shoot.

"We formed a bubble to film the scenes for the siege. For the first time in ages we were able to get into close proximity to each other which just lends something else to the performances," Susan teased.
"I've absolutely loved it. It's a great storyline, full of drama from start to finish."
Isabel Hodgins, who plays Victoria Sugden, was equally thrilled to be able to "hug and touch" her co-stars again. "These scenes have been so good to film," she said.
"Luckily we were all allowed to bubble up and we could film within two metres of each other for certain scenes. This has made it extra fun. We were able to hug and touch.

"It was high drama and I've missed doing that. I was filming with a great group of people so I had the time of my life!"
Can the same be said for their characters Wendy and Victoria? We doubt it, somehow...
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
