In next week's Emmerdale episodes, Charity reveals Vanessa's cancer diagnosis to Tracy. Meanwhile, Cain makes a dangerous new enemy in corrupt cop DI Malone.
Here are 12 big moments to watch next week.
1. Charity tells Tracy about Vanessa's news
Charity struggles to cope next week, as she's still the only person privy to Vanessa's cancer news. She does her best to comfort her fiancée through her pain, but she's left feeling useless at how little she can do.
Later, it's a difficult case of bad timing as she learns Tracy is hosting a surprise birthday party for Vanessa – exactly what she doesn't need. With Tracy still in the dark over what Vanessa is going through, Charity drags Tracy outside and tries to put a stop to the party, but Tracy refuses.
Desperate and worried over how Vanessa will cope having to put on a brave face, Charity blurts out that Vanessa has cancer and heartbroken Tracy is floored.
2. Charity feels side-lined
Shell-shocked Tracy tries to get everyone out of the party, but it's too late and she hears a cry of "Surprise" from the inside. Vanessa paints on a smile, but this quickly crumbles when she learns Charity has told Tracy her news.

Furious, Vanessa storms away and is chased after by Tracy. Charity holds back, anxious that she has made things worse again.
An emotional Vanessa opens up to Tracy, leaving Charity out in the cold. Feeling sidelined and shut out, Charity is short with Tracy and the two argue. Vanessa is forced to step in and help build bridges. Will they realise their war is the last thing she needs?
3. Cain confronts dodgy DI Malone
Corrupt copper DI Malone sets a trap for desperate Will and blackmails him into another drugs job. Will's anxiety reaches boiling point and he can see no way out of being Malone's puppet.
At the garage, Cain is suspicious when he uncovers a package stowed away in Malone's car and corners Will, telling him it's time they had a 'little chat'.
Will confesses all, telling Cain all about crooked Malone and everything he's up to. This prompts Cain to make a dangerous decision to confront Malone himself and sets out to meet him in a lay-by.
4. Cain feels under threat
It's not long before Cain realises he has made a big mistake in confronting Malone, when he returns home to find the garage trashed. Later, he also discovers Moira's bull has been murdered.
At the farm, Cain's on edge when Malone arrives – this time in his detective role – and begins questioning him. The threat is clear when Malone asks Cain if there's anyone who might bear a grudge against him.
Cain is left shaken by Malone's appearance, but fears what else he has in store to make his life a misery…
5. Jai asks Laurel to move in
The burden of Arthur's bullying secret weighs heavily on Laurel's mind in upcoming episodes, especially when Jai asks her to move in. Having promised to keep Arthur's secret, a down-hearted Laurel tells her son that with Jai in the dark about Arthur and Archie, they can't live with him.
Feeling guilty about his mum's dilemma, Arthur decides to tell Jai himself. But as he builds up the courage, Laurel interrupts and covers up Arthur's attempt to tell the truth.
Jai reveals he still wants them to live together as one big happy family and Laurel plays along, hopeful that things will work out. As they celebrate the good news, there's one person wary about this new arrangement – Archie.
6. Laurel floors Jai with the truth about Arthur
Left alone, Archie picks up Sandy's ship-in-a-bottle and starts playing with it carelessly. From the next room, Laurel hears a fall and rushes in to find Archie trapped under a toppled cabinet.
Laurel panics that Arthur is up to his old tricks again, but he assures her and Jai that he had nothing to do with it. However, Archie has a different version of events and blames him.
Furious, Laurel has no choice but to reveal to Jai that Arthur has been bullying and hurting Archie for months behind their backs and the revelation leaves Jai stunned.
7. Luke asks Victoria for another chance
Having just recently made a tentative start to their relationship, Luke and Victoria are already on the rocks. When the two of them decided to take things to the next level and sleep together, Vic was overwhelmed by memories of Lee, her rapist and Luke's brother, and put an end to things.
With the romance already under scrutiny from Vic's loved ones and Wendy's unwelcome involvement, Vic found the situation too difficult to handle.
Next week, Luke approaches Victoria and asks her to consider giving their romance another chance. Will she agree or will the pair decide that they're doomed to fail?
8. Brenda competes against HOP
Ambitious Brenda feels the heat when she learns that the outdoor pursuits centre, HOP, is launching a food outlet, putting the café under pressure to compete. Knowing she could face real trouble if profits suffer, Brenda won't go down without a fight.
Adamant that she won't let the likes of Kim Tate force her out of business, Brenda decides to up her game, determined to fight the new food outlet with all she has got.
9. Dan and Mandy get closer
It looks like there could be another new romance on the cards in Emmerdale as Dan and Mandy grow closer. We've already seen a brief flirtation between the pair, but might they finally be getting it together?
As their attraction continues to develop, Dan and Mandy agree to go on a date. Let's hope it's a bit more successful than their previous attempts at love!
10. Brenda comes under fire
With Brenda eager to attract new customers to the café, Cathy and Heath come up with a new idea to appeal to more people – vegan bakes. The kids whip up vegan cakes and cookies and Brenda's thrilled when they go down a treat in the café.
However, Brenda's optimism doesn't last as Dan suffers an allergic reaction. Brenda is concerned about the fallout and it's not long before she's blamed for Dan's suffering. What will this mean for the café?
11. Samson finds funding
Samson faces a dilemma when he's presented with a quick way to get his hands on some cash. He needs money to fund a trip and although he's desperate to go, the Dingles aren't exactly flush.
As Samson ponders what to do, the funds for the trip come with a catch that could cause a big upset. Will he get his hands on the funds and if so – at what cost?
12. Andrea considers playing dirty
With divisions between her and Jamie still fraught, Andrea believes she's fighting a losing battle when it comes to their daughter's custody. Not only is ruthless Kim on Jamie's side, but there's also their wealth to contend with.
Andrea considers her impossible situation in upcoming scenes and comes up with a new way to challenge Kim. She realises if she's going to win, it's time she played dirty. But how far will Andrea go to uncover the truth?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
