Next week's Emmerdale episodes include a surprise arrival for one family, a departure from the village and a secret kiss.
Here's a full collection of 9 big storylines you can look forward to.
1. Jessie lashes out
Next week Jessie makes a shock move by resigning from her job as headteacher at the school and her situation goes from bad to worse.
Humiliated about her job woes, Jessie drowns her sorrows but is soon confronted by an accusing Nicola, who has a lot to say about what happened with Maya. Feeling backed into a corner, Jessie lashes out, delivering some angry home truths about the children of the village.
Marlon is quick to escort Jessie away, but is horrified as she continues her outburst, this time directed at him. As Jessie blames Marlon for her tirade in the pub, her anger doesn't fade even as they walk home with Billy and Ellis in tow, but the family are being watched from afar by a mysterious figure…
2. Al arrives
Ellis's dad arrives in the village next week, played by Harry Potter's Michael Wildman, and he's expected to "ruffle a few feathers" in Ellis's life.
What to Read Next
Al's arrival comes as a surprise to the whole household and begins when Ellis has a new potential client to meet. There he comes face to face with a figure from his past – his dad.
Later at April's birthday party, Ellis tries to tell Jessie about his surprise meeting, but they're interrupted by a car horn and he heads outside. When Jessie sees the mysterious arrival, she reveals to Marlon that the man is Al, Ellis's dad.
The question is, why has Al turned up in the village and will he get a warm welcome?
3. Zak and Faith share a kiss
Life has been tough for Zak since Lisa's death and vivacious Faith is determined to get him smiling again. Soon the pair begin laughing about the good old days, but Zak's mood turns as he starts to feel guilty for having fun without his beloved Lisa and storms out.
Faith won't give up on her mission to cheer up Zak. The two strike up a conversation about their shared history with stories that manage to lift Zak's mood. As they reminisce, there's a brief kiss between them and they narrowly miss being caught as the door springs open and the others return home.
Later, Zak feels guilty about the kiss and thinks they should come clean. The next day he finds Faith in The Woolpack for a private chat. The pair talk in the privacy of the cellar, both aware of how bad they will look if their secret comes out.
4. Faith exposes Bear's secret
Faith has a dilemma on her hands as her secret kiss with Zak looks set to be exposed by a suspicious Bear. Bear interrupts Faith and Zak's private chat in the cellar and the guilty pair are forced to hide. Due to an accident with a barrel, Faith and the fuse box get soaked with beer and the power goes off upstairs, leaving all eyes on a guilty Bear.
Soaking, Faith and Zak emerge from the cellar, leaving Bear suspicious. Backed into a corner, Faith reveals that Bear is illiterate in order to protect her own secret of kissing Zak. How will Bear react?
