Emmerdale is setting up a mystery storyline as Harriet Finch finds that she has a stalker.
On Friday (April 5), the village vicar played by Katherine Dow Blyton will be attacked by a hooded figure but unfortunately, it doesn't end there.
In next week's episodes, PC Mike Swirling (Andy Moore) investigates the attack and suspects Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley). The suspicion on Dawn eventually subsides – although Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) remains unconvinced – and Harriet feels vindicated.

But returning to Woodbine, Harriet discovers the back door open and one of her photos smashed.
And then the following day, Harriet finds red paint thrown over the pulpit.
What to Read Next
It's unknown at this stage who the stalker could be, but viewers will know that before becoming a vicar, Harriet worked as a private investigator. Maybe somebody she came across during her time as an investigator is coming for revenge?
The stalker could also be linked to Dawn, particularly with last year's revelation that she and Harriet share a secret history.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
