Emmerdale stars Mark Jordon and Laura Norton are engaged.
Mark, who plays Daz Spencer on the popular ITV soap, confirmed the news on Twitter on New Year's Day, as he reflected on his 'highs and lows' of the past year.
"Well, 2018 had some of the highest highs and the lowest lows," he wrote. "Really got to feel the love of true friends.
"Feel blessed by the support of my children and elated to have heard the word 'yes' from the most beautiful woman in the world."
Laura plays Kerry Wyatt on Emmerdale, having made her first appearance in July 2012.
Mark and Laura are not the only Emmerdale stars to have got engaged.

Fiona Wade, who plays Priya Sharma, announced on social media in another New Year's Day message that her former co-star Simon Cotton proposed to her a couple of days ago, and that she said yes.
"Feel so incredibly blessed. Wishing you all the happiest 2019 & so much love for the year ahead!" she added.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode on Thursday nights.
