EastEnders Lauren Branning and Jake Stone finally give in to their feelings and share a kiss.

Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) and Jake (Jamie Lomas) have been bonding over their drinking problem for several weeks now, since meeting at a counselling session.

Lauren will soon apply for a cleaning job at McKlunky's in order to help pay the bills at home, but is upset when she is turned down.

Joey tries to reassure her not to give up, but he is left disappointed when Lauren doesn't stay and chat for longer.

Unbeknown to Joey, Lauren then calls Jake knowing he will really understand what she is going through.

As Lauren arrives at his bedsit, they begin to talk, but their feelings soon take over and it isn't long before they are kissing.

Over on Hollyoaks, twisted Will Savage sinks to new depths as he strikes again.

Fans know that Will (James Atherton) killed Texas Longford on their wedding day earlier this year, and girlfriend Ash Kane is next on his hit list after their relationship ends bitterly.

Putting an evil plan into action, Will crushes pills into a wine bottle and invites Ash to the flat to talk - but what does he have in store for her?

Later, as a lifeless Ash is left lying on the sofa, Will steals her hospital swipe card to sneak into his mum Anna's psychiatric ward.

As Anna (Saskia Wickham) has been threatening to expose his true nature, Will knows that he needs to silence her, so he drowns her by holding her under some water in the bath.

Coming up on Coronation Street, Eva Price and Jason Grimshaw grow much closer.

Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) starts to see Jason (Ryan Thomas) in a whole new light after he supports her mum Stella through a very troubled time.

Once the truth about killer Karl and the Rovers Return fire is exposed, Stella goes into self-destruct mode - blaming herself for everything and seeking comfort at the bottom of a bottle.

Some of the locals also begin to gossip about how much Stella knew about Karl's crimes, but Jason and Dev Alahan refuse to accept that she is in any way to blame for Karl's wrongdoing.

When Eva notices how kind Jason is being towards Stella, she is very impressed and remarks on what a great guy he is.

Sensing her interest, Jason suggests Eva joins him at his house for a drink. As they grow merrier, Jason leans in for a kiss and Eva responds, but is she really prepared to embark on a full-blown relationship with her mum's ex?

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle struggles to remain calm as she schemes against serial killer Cameron Murray.

As reported earlier in the week, Debbie (Charley Webb) agrees to have her home bugged by the police and get a confession out of Cameron after she discovers that he killed Gennie Sharma.

Debbie knows that she needs to act completely normal if the plan is to work successfully, but her resolve is tested when an oblivious Cameron (Dominic Power) proposes to her.
