A hungover Kat finds Alfie in high spirits after yesterday, but they soon argue again. Tommy gets upset and speaks to Kat about how she seems much happier around Alfie. Kat decides that it's time for Alfie to leave to spare the kids any further confusion.
Freddie tells Alfie that he needs to earn his place back in Kat's life, so Alfie makes another plan.
Kat admits to Stacey that she's confused over her feelings for Alfie and Phil. However, a new gesture from Alfie soon pays off for him when Kat agrees that they can spend Christmas together as a family.
Meanwhile, Shirley struggles to get Scarlett to share details of Janine's secret. Scarlett hides the incriminating photo of Janine in her diary.
Elsewhere, Lola's meeting with the specialist goes badly when she's told that miracles rarely happen. Jay tells Ben that they have to make Christmas special as it could be their last one with the full family.
