1. Linda learns her fate

It's the day of Linda's court hearing and it's a double whammy as she also learns her divorce from Mick is official.

Preparing for the worst, Linda tells a disappointed Finlay and Felix that she likely won't make their Carnival-themed party and says an emotional goodbye to Ollie and Annie.

With Mick by her side, Linda goes to the hearing and delivers a passionate speech about her mistakes.

Both Mick and Linda are shocked when the judge doesn't give her a prison sentence, and Janine sees red as Linda walks back into The Vic.

2. Janine takes shocking action

Prior to the court outcome, Janine seethes when she realises Mick is still planning to visit Linda if she goes to prison.

Determined to get Linda out of her life for good, Janine turns back to Jada again.

She hands her money and blackmails a reluctant Jada into helping her bring down Linda once and for all.

3. Zack drops a bombshell

Unaware of what Janine has done, an elated Linda celebrates her newfound freedom at the Carnival party.

As the festivities get under way, Zack arrives with some alarming news.

Afterwards, a guilty Jada tells Janine that they went too far. However, Janine brushes it off and continues to blackmail Jada into helping with her revenge plan.

4. Keeble puts pressure on Phil

Phil's earlier deal with Keeble will come back to haunt him next week, in the lead-up to the Mitchell flashback episode.

At the start of the week, Ravi almost catches Phil on the phone to Keeble, who is demanding names.

After Ravi has left, Phil makes a phone call to a contact called Dodge, in an attempt to get some dirt on Keeble.

5. Jean returns to Walford

Jean's friends and family welcome her home next week, but things get awkward when Arthur cowers away from her.

As she settles back in, Jean agrees to go to the Carnival party at The Vic, but immediately turns back when she sees Harvey and Dana outside.

6. Harvey struggles with Jean's return

Feeling bad about his awkward exchange with Jean, Harvey decides not to go to the party either. Instead, he gives Dana his credit card and tells her to go shopping for university supplies.

Dana can tell Harvey has been drinking later, but he shuts her down when she suggests that he should go and see Jean.

7. Suki tries to rebuild bridges with Kheerat

After chatting with Stacey, Kheerat begins to reevaluate his feud with Suki. He is also rattled to learn Ravi and Nugget are moving in with his mum.

Eve observes Ravi taunting Kheerat about Suki, and tells her what's happening.

Later, Suki knocks to speak to Kheerat but immediately leaves when it becomes awkward.

8. Billy faces a setback

Billy is gutted when Honey turns down his invitation for a dance at the Carnival party.

Afterwards, Rocky gives Billy and Bobby advice about the women in their lives.

This gives Billy the idea to put on a Carnival-themed party just for Janet and Honey, but how will it go down?

9. Kheerat causes chaos

Kheerat offers to cover the cost of redecorating Jean's bedroom, but Stacey politely declines.

When left alone with Jean, Kheerat decides to pursue this anyway and calls in a favour from Vinny. After managing to get his hands on pots of paint to redecorate Jean's room, Kheerat gets down to business.

In doing so, a paint fight breaks out between the kids, Eve, Kheerat and Jean, leaving Stacey shocked when she returns home to chaos.

10. Phil faces a new dilemma

Kat warns Phil not to ruin their wedding and to get Keeble off his case as soon as possible.

Phil then meets with Dodge and gets some incriminating information on Keeble, before warning him to get out of the country.

This infuriates Keeble, who later expresses her anger at what Phil is doing behind her back.

As Phil attempts to turn the tables, Keeble hands him a photo of someone – demanding information on them. Keeble insists that Phil will go back in prison if he doesn't comply, but who is the person in question, and what will Phil do about it?

11. Dana makes a decision

Unaware that a surprise party is being planned for her, Dana continues to worry about her dad's behaviour.

Despite reassurance from Bobby, Dana tries to defer her place at university, in a bid to stay home and look after Harvey.

Dana reluctantly follows Harvey into Peggy's later on, where everyone jumps out and surprises her – just as she reveals she's not going to university after all. What will Dana decide to do?

12. Kheerat and Jean support each other

Kheerat and Jean begin to support each other as they face separate challenges.

They encourage each other to face their fears – Jean by going outside and Kheerat accepting that he needs to look out for his mum.

13. Ravi causes trouble

Kheerat confides in Stacey over his issues with Ravi.

Stacey later realises what Kheerat means as Ravi tries to charm her. Determined to make a point, Stacey purposefully kisses Kheerat in front of him.
