Next week on EastEnders, Jean's health takes a worrying turn for the worst, Keegan gets some hopeful news and Phil and Ben team up – but it could spell trouble for Ballum.

1. Phil is haunted by Dennis's death
Phil gets a painful reminder of his loss next week, as EastEnders revisits Dennis Rickman's tragic death.
Phil will be floored when he receives a gift that he was planning to surprise Dennis with, but finds support in an understanding Ben.
As Ben tries to talk to his dad, the pair begin reminiscing about Dennis, but the touching moment is ruined when Phil grows frustrated that Ben can't hear him.

2. Ben prepares for his operation
A big couple of days for Ben will begin in next Monday's episode when he finally gets a date for his operation.
When Ben learns that his potentially life-changing surgery is due to take place the following day, he immediately opens up to his boyfriend Callum about what's happening.
Callum is on hand to support Ben as always, but some later obstacles could be about to rock their steady ship...
3. Jean's behaviour continues to cause concern
Jean is still at the forefront of Kush's mind in next week's episodes, as her worrying behaviour continues to cause alarm.
It's not just Kush who is concerned, either, as Shirley is also convinced that something isn't right with Jean, who called the police about Whitney's disappearance – despite her returning home.
Feeling embarrassed, Jean later snaps at Kush, before exploding at Whitney for 'lying 'and making her look stupid. Wanting answers, Shirley demands the truth from Kush.
4. Danny Hardcastle is back
And you know what that means... trouble. That's right, former Brookside star Paul Usher is back for another guest stint as scheming Danny Hardcastle, and as always, he's got another dodgy job in his sights.
After overhearing Phil pressuring Mick and Linda to seal the deal on The Vic sale, Danny realises how desperate his old acquaintance is for cash and pulls him to one side.
As the two sit down to discuss a potential job, Phil is left seething when Danny mocks Ben and insists he stays out of their plan. But it's all good as Phil's got a better one...
5. Phil has a proposition for Ben
After lashing out at Danny for criticising his son, Phil turns the job down and concocts a plan of his own.
Deciding to fly solo without Danny, Phil approaches Ben and asks for his help instead. But with Ben's operation imminent, is he making a mistake by getting involved with Phil's dangerous dealings?
6. Kush and Shirley take action
Having already taken drastic action to help Jean last night, Kush will join forces with Shirley as he perseveres with his plan.
When Kush tells Shirley that Jean hasn't been taking her medication, they take matters into their own hands, but by doing what?
7. Ben and Callum clash
Ballum are about to hit the rocks again, when Ben's determination to help Phil leaves Callum furious.
Although Callum is a pillar of support for Ben as they head to the hospital for his operation, the small matter of Phil's impending job means that things quickly turn sour.
Distracted by Phil's latest update, Ben tries to get information from Callum about what the police might know. When Callum realises that Ben is digging for information, he's furious and storms off. Can the couple resolve their differences?
8. Jay grows suspicious of Lola
Lola is another Walford resident with the weight of the world on her shoulders next week, especially now that Peter has landed a job with Jay.
With Lola already on edge, her fears are magnified when Peter lets slip to Jay that he knows about their recent rough patch.
With Jay suspicious, Lola reveals she told Peter about the abortion and later begs Peter not to reveal the truth. But will Peter agree?
9. Rainie and Stuart against Max
Rainie has an elaborate wedding in her sights next week, prompting Stuart to take inspiration from the funeral parlour. Interesting.
Sadly, Rainie's happy bubble is burst when Max makes a sly dig, but she's given food for thought during a conversation with Stuart later on.
As Stuart plants the seed that Rainie can get half of Max's assets in the divorce, she decides to do some digging, but what will she find?
10. Mitch turns to Jack for help
With Keegan currently facing an uncertain future following his recent arrest, his worried dad Mitch turns to Jack for help.
Desperate to help his son, Mitch presses Jack for information but is frustrated to be told that it's simply a case of waiting for the bodycam footage to be repaired.
Later, Mitch asks Denise to speak to Jack, but can they get him to pull some strings? Possibly...
11. Keegan finally gets some good news
Things could finally start to look up for Keegan when Jack shares a big update – a witness has come forward with video evidence.
When Jack and Tiffany show Keegan the video, everyone is relieved when it proves that he definitely wasn't involved.
However, with the video yet to be processed by the police, Jack insists Keegan keeps the news to himself. Will Keegan do as he's told?
12. Jean has a seizure
As Shirley and Kush continue to share their concerns over Jean, they fail to notice that she's taken a worrying turn for the worse.
Instead, the pair put Jean's explosive mood swings down to her medication not working – even though it's clear that she's actually now feeling extremely unwell.
Later, Shirley and Tina are alarmed to find Jean having a seizure. Will she be okay?
13. Isaac is left mortified
Isaac is still struggling with Sheree's bombshell about Patrick when he's given something else to worry about entirely.
After skiving off work, Isaac finds himself in an embarrassing situation with Denise that leaves him mortified. And we're intrigued. Very intrigued.
