Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Next week's Coronation Street will see Peter accused by Carla, while Daniel is feeling guilty, and Shona makes a move on David.
Here's a look at 10 storylines coming up.
1. Carla is shocked to learn about the assault
Carla had a blast from the past when two old faces rocked up and tried to blackmail her with a secret from the time she went missing last year.
Carla thanks Scott for escorting Jordan and Chelsey out of the pub after Carla took a stand against them, but Scott suggests she should thank Abi for having her back. Carla drops by the garage with a bottle of wine, and the women bond over their shared dark pasts.
However, just as Carla thinks she has put the incident behind her, she's stunned to see an article in the Gazette about an attack on the pair.
What to Read Next
2. Peter faces Carla's accusations
Assuming the worst, Carla quizzes Peter on the assault and suggests he attacked Jordan and Chelsey in revenge. Furious, Peter insists he had nothing to do with it and is offended by the accusation.
Later, the couple reconcile, and Peter reveals that he couldn't have attacked the pair as he was attending an alcoholics' meeting and has a full alibi. With Peter in the clear, Carla is left wondering who could have gone to such extreme lengths to defend her.
3. Daniel is feeling guilty about his night with Nicky
After heading on a night out with Adam, Daniel made a connection with newcomer Nicky, but was left feeling embarrassed by what happened next. He lies to Adam and insists that they went their separate ways.
Despite his guilt about the encounter, it isn't long before Daniel organises another meeting and heads to a hotel to meet Nicky.
4. Daniel finds a shoulder to cry on
Daniel meets Nicky at the hotel and begins to regret his decision. He admits it was a mistake to call her, but soon finds himself confiding in Nicky.
Revealing all about his life with Sinead, lonely Daniel confesses how empty his life has become without her and how much he misses her. Could Daniel's relationship with his new confidante lead him down a dark path?
Actor Rob Mallard recently revealed that despite putting on a brave face for family and friends, Daniel "has not moved on at all" from the devastating loss of Sinead.
5. David tries to make progress with Shona
Following her release from the rehabilitation facility where she was being treated for her memory loss, Shona is back on the cobbles and moving in with Roy and Nina.
Her care worker, Aaron, explains to Roy that Shona will need routine to help her recovery, while David tries to make progress with his estranged wife. As he drops by with some magazines for her, he's shocked when he catches Shona in a surprising situation.
6. Shona makes a move on David
David invites Shona out for dinner, but when the Bistro proves too much for her, Shona suggests they go to the chippy. When Shona steals Roy's wallet for their date, David is amused by the similarities to their first meeting.
Later, Shona is given food for thought when Gemma fills her in on the great relationship she had with David. After their chat, Shona invites David round to the flat, but leaves him floored when she makes a move on him and suggests they have sex. How will David react?
7. Tracy plans a family outing for Oliver
With Leanne still deeply concerned for Oliver's health after the news that the youngster may have mitochondrial disease, Tracy suggests that a family day out to the petting zoo is exactly what Oliver needs after a stressful few weeks.
As the whole family comes together for the outing, Leanne can't help fretting about her son. However, when Oliver begins to laugh at the animals, Leanne is given fresh hope after seeing Oliver acting like his old self.
8. Leanne hopes for good news about Oliver
After the successful day out, Oliver begins to show signs of improvement as his appetite returns. Despite his progress, Leanne is hesitant when she learns that Steve has booked a family holiday to Cornwall.
Even though Leanne eventually comes around to the idea of the trip away, she has bigger worries on her mind as they take Oliver to his latest hospital appointment. With Leanne and Steve hopeful that his feeding tube will be removed, will they receive good news?
9. Seb and Alina come clean about their feelings
After months of tension between the pair, Seb finally tells Alina that he still has feelings for her. Before Alina can respond, the moment is interrupted by an oblivious Emma.
Later, Alina confirms that she feels the same way but insists they can't act on their feelings. Afraid that Emma will get hurt, they agree to remain friends and arrange to meet for a drink. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, if you ask us.
10. Toyah and Imran start planning their future
As Nina and Evelyn make plans to lobby the local MP as part of their latest protest, eager Toyah decides to tag along. After the last protest ended up in the group being arrested, Toyah promises Imran there won't be a repeat situation.
The protest coincides with Toyah and Imran's initial meeting with the fostering agency, as the couple begin their journey to become foster parents. Let's hope Toyah's activism doesn't ruin their plans.
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
