Like the rest of the world, soap fans are being impacted by the ever-changing Coronavirus pandemic – with EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks all set to reduce their episode output as a result.
You can keep up-to-date with the scheduling changes here, but fear not, as there are still plenty of ways to get your daily soap fix if you're self-isolating, social-distancing or just fancy a big old soap binge.
Whether you're looking for to go back 30 years of EastEnders, or just three years of Emmerdale, here is our guide on where to go and what to do:
Coronation Street
With current Corrie episodes due to reduce down to three-weekly at the end of the month, fans can still get their dose of Weatherfield action over on ITV3. Over there, the channel broadcasts repeats of Classic Corrie daily, at 2.50pm and then again at 3.20pm.
Britbox is also streaming an impressive collection of classic Coronation Street episodes, from the show's debut in 1960 – all the way through Roy and Hayley's moving Blackpool trip in 2013.
Over on Amazon, there are four separate DVD collections to purchase. Coronation Street - Best of 1960, includes 80 episodes from the 1960s, featuring the trials and tribulations of iconic characters like Ena Sharples, Elsie Tanner and a young Ken Barlow. Coronation Street - Best of 1970-1979 has another huge collection of classic Corrie episodes, this time from the 70s. Meanwhile, Coronation Street - Best of 1980-1989 features another outstanding selection of episodes from, you guessed it... the 80s.
What to Read Next
A further DVD Coronation Street: The Best of 1990 - 1999 features highlights from the 90s, including Hayley Cropper's transgender storyline, Deirdre's wrongful imprisonment and Curly's pursuit of Raquel.
Emmerdale
Vintage episodes of Emmerdale are airing daily on ITV3 – and have been since earlier last year. Like their ITV counterpart Corrie, the channel is showing daily repeats, which air at 1.45pm and then again at 2.15pm. The re-runs kicked off from 1989 period and are currently in the middle of showing the episodes that were broadcast back in 1995. What an ideal time to hop on board and get your daily dose of Dales drama.
If you fancy some even more nostalgia during this self-isolation period then why not head over to Amazon? There, you can find three separate disc sets available, allowing you to watch the first 84 episodes of Emmerdale Farm – showing how it all began back in 1972.
That's not all, though, as Britbox is also streaming a selection of classic episodes, focusing on key stories for popular couples Zak and Lisa and Robert and Aaron.
Lisa and Zak's 1998 wedding episode is in the mix, along with their poignant renewal last spring. If you're a Robron lover, then you can re-watch their eventful love story as well, with a selection of their significant episodes up for grabs.
EastEnders
EastEnders has been significantly impacted amid the coronavirus pandemic, having halted production and cutting back to two episodes a week. But fans shouldn't fret too much as we've got some handy tips to stop you from getting too many Walford withdrawals.
First and foremost, you can catch repeats of EastEnders on the Drama channel every weekday at 1pm and then again at 1.40pm. Having started from the very beginning (a very good place to start) earlier last year, the episode re-runs are in the 1993 period at this current time. So get watching and recording, sit back and enjoy.
Amazon also has a selection of iconic episodes you can download, such as memorable character exit episodes and a range of Christmas specials.
BBC iPlayer is also a saving grace in the current climate, allowing you to watch or rewatch all current episodes from up to September last year. You can also download the must-see golden oldie Bonfire episode from 2000, where Peggy confronts Pat and Frank over their affair. Boom.
Hollyoaks
With Hollyoaks also cutting back to three weekly episodes, fans can buy a range of old-school omnibuses over on Amazon. Full series of Hollyoaks Later are also available to buy on there as well.
At the time of writing, Hollyoaks is continuing production in the hope they can continue bringing the show to screens for as long as possible. However, the show's bosses have spoken about plans to air old episodes to bridge the gap should the soap be taken off air in the near-future.
Home and Away
Want to get lost in the Summer Bay sunshine for a few hours? Head over to Amazon where the first 200 episodes of Home and Away are available to download.
Furthermore, fans of the Aussie soap can also buy Home and Away Weddings on DVD, which takes a fairly self-explanatory trip down the aisle. Home and Away Romances, which takes a look back at the show's most memorable romances in various clips, is also available to buy on DVD on Amazon.
Neighbours
There's not much change on the Neighbours scheduling front as of yet, but we've got you covered if fancy a Ramsay Street binge nonetheless.
Neighbours: From the beginning, available on Amazon, takes us right back to where it all began with the very first 56 episodes of the Aussie soap.
If that's not enough, check out Neighbours - The iconic episodes which is also available to buy on Amazon and features a further 24 episodes, covering the most momentous times in Ramsey Street's 22-year history.
Casualty and Holby City
Fans of hospital dramas Holby City and Casualty can watch daily repeats of the shows over on the Drama channel.
Holby City airs at 10am weekdays, while Casualty airs straight afterwards at 11am. A great way to pass the time until the shows are back on screen next week.
Waterloo Road and The Bill
Waterloo Road is airing from the beginning over on BBC iPlayer. Daily repeats of The Bill are being screened on Drama every day at 9am.
