1. Coronation Street: Drama for Shona and David

(Friday at 7.30pm on ITV)

Shona is swift to point the finger of blame in Max's direction when Harry is knocked unconscious at home, despite him insisting Lily was responsible for the incident.

The next day, Marion turns up on the doorstep, revealing that she's Max's grandmother, and clocks that Shona has been drinking. After seeking legal advice from Adam about how to take her grandson away, Marion sends Shona a text informing her of her intentions.

During visiting hours, David is horrified when Shona tells him Marion is going for custody. Things soon go from bad to worse when he takes a trip to the prison medical wing and comes face-to-face with his rapist Josh.

2. Emmerdale: Robron on the run

(Tuesday at 7pm on ITV)

Things are unravelling at a rapid pace for Robert when Victoria informs him that Lee has died as a result of his injuries. Fearing he'll now be charged with the murder of the evil rapist, Liv tells Robert the only way out is for him to go on the run with Aaron.

With the decision made, the couple get ready for a hasty getaway, and Aaron's in pieces as he breaks news of his departure to Chas. With teary goodbyes out of the way, the boys drive off to start their new life away from the Dales.

3. EastEnders: Martin is attacked

(Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

Confused by his recent behaviour, suspicious Sonia asks Martin outright what has been going on. Managing to fob his ex off, Martin then agrees to do another collection job for Ben, insisting he doesn't require any back up. But with the pressure of the situation mounting, Martin is pushed over the edge when Ian questions why the takings on the stall are short, leading him to angrily lash out at his cousin.

Later, a pick-up with Tubbs ends in violence as Martin gets hurt and ends up missing Bex's mental health appointment. Horrified by Martin's injuries, Sonia demands he goes to A&E to get checked out, but will he listen?

4. Hollyoaks: Mercedes is busted

(Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Harry's mobile finds its way into Joel's possession when it falls out of Breda's bag in The Dog car park. After picking the phone up, Joel charges it and is appalled to hear a voice note from Mercedes, admitting to Grace's hit and run and threatening to kill Harry.

Armed with the incriminating evidence, Joel pays Mercy a visit and plays the recording to her. Joel gives Mercedes the opportunity to tell her loved ones what she has done first, before he goes to the police the next day. With the clock ticking, Liam offers Mercedes a get out, but only on his terms...

5. Neighbours: Mark makes his exit

(Tuesday at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5)

Mark and Aaron return from visiting Fay in Adelaide with some huge news – Mark has decided to leave Erinsborough to be closer to their mum. With only one day left in Ramsay Street, emotional Mark can't face farewells with his neighbours. But following conversations with both Roxy and Aaron, he comes up with a compromise and records video messages for everyone who means something to him, pressing send as he departs.

When Elly receives hers, she's gutted to learn her ex has already gone. Learning Mark has headed to the lake for a final goodbye with Sonya and Kate, she hurries there, hoping she'll be able to catch her former love before he goes for good.

6. Emmerdale: Faith smells a rat

(Thursday at 7pm on ITV)

Jealous Nate scuppers Faith's romantic lunch for Cain and Moira, when he whisks her away for a meal at a country pub. As Cain cringes at his mum's meddling, Moira is panicked when she sees two missed calls from Faith and hurries back to the farm.

Later, Faith spies a hushed conversation between Pete and Moira. She corners Pete, quizzing him over his recent move to the B&B. Pete keeps schtum and refuses to drop Moira in it, but later warns his aunt that Faith is onto her.

As Pete tells Moira he's not prepared to cover for her anymore, she's thrown into panic, wondering how she'll convince Faith she's not playing away.

7. EastEnders: Rainie self destructs

(Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

Following her harsh treatment of Rainie, remorseful Kathy tries to make amends by suggesting to Max that she supervise while his ex babysits little Abi. Stubborn Max refuses to budge, but Stuart turns the screws on Kath, threatening to reveal what she did unless she allows Rainie access to the toddler.

Going against Max's wishes, Kathy agrees to let Rainie take Abi to the park, but elsewhere, Stuart is growing concerned about the addict's state of mind. Arriving at the park, Stuart's worst fears are confirmed. As things escalate, Kathy finds herself on the receiving end of Rainie's rage.

8. Coronation Street: Gemma's in demand

(Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV)

Gemma's made up when she manages to bag free VIP tickets for her and Chesney to County's match. But the mumma-to-be's enthusiasm turns to embarrassment when she manages to get stuck in the turnstile and has to be rescued by two fire fighters. If that wasn't mortifying enough, red-faced Gemma discovers a picture of the incident splashed on the front page of the Gazette.

With journalists begging her for an interview, Gemma meets up with a PR agent called Rosa, who promises to make her a fortune. But just as Gemma's about to agree to the deal, she starts experiencing crippling stomach pains...

9. Hollyoaks: James kicks off

(Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

James is wallowing in guilt after taking his anger over Harry's death out on Romeo. Peri discovers Romeo squatting at the Maaliks', and is shocked when he reveals that James punched him. Peri encourages Romeo to make amends with his father before it's too late, but when she witnesses James viciously grabbing Marnie's arm, she gives him a piece of her mind.

Marnie's disgusted to hear about the attack, but determined to not allow her family to fall apart, she visits Romeo and begs him to forgive James. She soon regrets her softness towards her son when she returns home to witness him turning on Juliet. Terrified he's following in his father's footsteps, Marnie snaps and orders James out.

10. Home and Away: Irene plans her escape

(Thursday at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5)

Anxious Irene is working hard to keep her nerves in check ahead of her impending court case, and is buoyed when her lawyer says the jury will sympathise with her. But her confidence takes a crushing knock when she comes across comments on a vlog about her attack on Tommy, discussing her past alcoholism and rocky relationships with her children.

Questioning her character, and unable to face the prospect of her dirty laundry being aired in court, the devastated Diner owner writes a goodbye letter to Leah and gets ready to flee the Bay.
