Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has opened up about her future on the cobbles after taking time out for maternity leave.
The actress, who plays Fiz Stape on the soap, revealed that she has no plans to leave Corrie and that she's happy playing 'this one character' for as long as she's wanted.
Speaking on the Humans of XS Manchester podcast, Jennie described acting on the show as the "easiest job in the world", but she's not taking it for granted.

"I do love it," she said. "The thing is, you never, never know and I can't ever take it for granted because they (the writers) might have other ideas one day.
"But for now, I love it and I live in Manchester. I've got my life in Manchester and now two children in Manchester."
