Jennifer Saunders has paid a touching tribute to friend and fellow comedian Victoria Wood, following her sad death.
Saunders said the actress and comedian was "an inspiration" and "had so much left to give" in her tribute on Twitter.
The Dinnerladies actress passed away today (April 20) after a short battle with cancer, aged 62.
Saunders wrote: "Cant believe Vic has gone. She was truly an inspiration and had so much left to to give and we won't see it. She was so funny."
The pair worked together on a number projects over the years, including teaming up for a Comic Relief parody of Downton Abbey in 2011 - Uptown Downstairs Abbey - which Saunders penned.
They also went head-to-head on last year's The Great Comic Relief Bake Off, which Wood went on to win.
