After five long days, Blake Lively ended her faux Instagram drama with her husband Ryan Reynolds.

Lively unfollowed Reynolds — and everyone else except 30+ girls named Emily Nelson, the name of her character in her upcoming film A Simple Favour — at the beginning of this week and "erased" all her photos to give the film's trailer she'd later post extra buzz.

It worked: the Instagram video got 6.3 million views, and her PR stunt made headlines across entertainment outlets.

But unlike Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik, who also purged their Instagrams to promote upcoming projects, Lively didn't really erase all her photos. She archived them and then unhid them last night, so her profile is back to normal.

She also re-followed Reynolds and still follows one Emily Nelson account.

That Emily Nelson Insta seems to be one made for her A Simple Favour character, @hope.for.emily (since her character goes missing in the film, the username's fitting).

The aesthetic is very chic, and everything is captionless, although one photo appears to have a finger in a cocktail glass. A little disturbing, but it makes sense given the tone of the trailer.

Lively's execution of this is really win-all: Lively and the A Simple Favour team got a great boost from this; Ryan Reynolds got extra press coverage during his Deadpool 2 when he joked about how "so sad" he was that Lively unfollowed him; and all of Lively's Instagram fans get to see her old photos again.

Lively added a new photo of herself on the social network last night, acknowledging the end of her ruse with the most Blake Lively humour.

"Reuploading my page and loving this excuse to post this 💯 outfit from last month that I forgot to post the next day," she wrote.

A Simple Favour is released in US cinemas on September 14 and UK cinemas on September 21.
