With under three weeks to go until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's big day, royal wedding memorabilia has started to pop up in shops everywhere.

And if you're looking to mark the special occasion with a traditional commemorative coin, the official version has just been released.

The Royal Mint has launched a special £5 coin to celebrate Harry and Meghan's wedding on May 19. It will be available in three different metals from today (May 1), with prices ranging from £13 for the Brilliant Uncirculated coin to £82.50 for the Silver Proof version and a whopping £1,980 for Gold Proof.

Designed by Jody Clark, who created the current effigy of the Queen in 2015, the Royal Mint was granted a private sitting at Kensington Palace following Harry and Meghan's engagement announcement.

The portrait shows the couple looking happy and relaxed as they stare lovingly into each other's eyes. It's said to highlight the connection between the husband and wife to-be. Anne Jessopp, CEO at The Royal Mint, said it has been "an honour" to work closely with the royal duo to create a memento "celebrating this most British of celebrations".

The coin isn't the only new merchandise to mark the royal nuptials. The Royal Collection Trust has unveiled a range of fine bone china, which has been approved by Harry and Meghan.

It includes a miniature coffee mug, regular-sized coffee mug, a pillbox, tankard and a plate in a white and cornflower blue design.

Cath Kidston has also released a limited edition royal wedding collection, including a wedding plate, bowl, tea towel and tote bag, and the memorabilia has even been hitting the supermarket shelves.

And Yorkshire sausage maker HECK has launched a new Sweet Ginger and American Mustard flavour to reflect the transatlantic union. So if you can't make it to the wedding of the year, tucking into food inspired by the royal couple might have to do.

Harry and Meghan will be married on May 19 at St George's Chapel in Windsor.
