The Suicide Squad star James Gunn has tied the knot with Peacemaker star Jennifer Holland.
The filmmaker shared on social media that he had what sounds like an incredible wedding weekend, complete with a DC vs Marvel softball game where Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad star Michael Rooker played on both teams!
"After over 7 years together, I finally married the love of my life, @jenniferlholland," he wrote on Instagram. "What an incredible, beautiful, stunning day surrounded by the most wonderful family and friends in the world. And, yes, that’s a moose that showed up as the ceremony began."
His bride also shared photos on her own social media, along with the message: "James! Thank you for sharing your love, life and family with me. Thank you for choosing me, for elevating me, and for always making me belly laugh. Here’s to many more years to follow the first extraordinary 7."
The two get to work together in addition to their private life, as Holland has played ARGUS special agent Emilia Harcourt in both The Suicide Squad and its spinoff show Peacemaker.
For anyone worried they may not get to see the second season of Peacemaker amid Discovery's recent cancellation of the Batgirl film, Gunn recently assured fans that the project is safe.

It was also announced in May that Gunn will be producing a second Suicide Squad spinoff series, this time based around ARGUS's ruthless boss Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Christal Henry (HBO's Watchmen) is set to write the Worlds of DC show.
The first season of Peacemaker streams on HBO Max in the US, and airs on Sky and NOW in the UK. A second season is currently in the works.
