Reading is in for an equally damp Sunday, with some heavy and possibly thundery rain forecast for overnight on Saturday.
Nevertheless the weather's looking better for Friday and Saturday, remaining mostly fine and dry with only the odd threat of a rain shower.
In Leeds, BBC Weather is reporting that temperatures aren't expected to exceed 19 degrees Celsius while in Reading it's a touch warmer, with temperatures reaching 20 degrees Celsius.
