Steven Spielberg is such an untouchable badass at this point that he's working nostalgic tributes to his own movies into the giant pop-culture crossover that is Ready Player One.

In case you missed it, there's a brief shot of the Rexy reenacting the classic chase from Jurassic Park in Ready Player One's virtual alternate reality.

Among the other pop culture references that stand out are the clever choice to set the trailer to 'Pure Imagination' from Willy Wonka, and cameos from the Iron Giant and even a rampaging King Kong.

There's also a brief shot near the end featuring characters from DC, Lord of the Rings and various video games waging war in the virtual-reality world known as OASIS.

The big-budget fantasy movie centres around young Wade (Tye Sheridan) and his girlfriend Samantha (Olivia Cooke) unleashing a revolution in OASIS while the real world crumbles around them.
